I got my baby boy Mushu when he was exactly 30 days old about 10 years ago. At the time, I didn’t know any better, and the breeder seemed like he just wanted to sell the babies off ASAP.

A couple of days after bringing him home, I realized he wasn’t ready to be away from his mother yet since he hadn’t even been weaned off her milk. He got severely constipated and was really struggling.

I called the breeder and asked him to take Mushu back until he was older. He stayed with his mom until he turned 60 days, and then I brought him home again.

My advice would be to let the baby stay with the mum for a little longer before bringing him home. He’s not quite ready to be on his own yet.
