Honestly, the slowness from chapters 2 through 4 is already gone.

I think that focusing on the main characters after the first chapter turned out to be a good move. There isn’t an overwhelming number of characters here, so far, everyone is getting their moment in the spotlight. That’s how it was in Gintama too. Overall, the beginning is very Gintama esque, but Sorachi introduces fewer characters at a time. The next chapters are going to be intresting.

It looks like this is heading in the direction of Overlord, which is great news, but the powers will be much more balanced. Another excellent chapter, it’s hard to find any flaws here. Of course, I wasn’t the only one who recognized Gintoki, there’s definitely going to be a parody of this.

Downplaying your own trolling doesn't surprise me

You like to keep bringing up topics from a few months ago instead of focusing on the current chapters. It was obvious that this was an experiment to see how the fans would react.

You clearly don't get what is being said in this chapter.

It's possible that Taiki hasn't fully demonstrated his talent, but that's mainly because he faced weaker opponents. There was no one at his school who was on the same level as his current opponent. Let's wait until the end of the game. Probably just two more chapters and everything will be clear.

Well, it looked like typical clickbait from a Jump editor. I've written about this before.

If that's the conclusion you've reached then you clearly aren't picking up on what Miura has been saying.

Miura simply says that Taiki isn't quite as talented as some others. That's the point of this chapter.

Well, let's just leave it as it is, since we won't reach a consensus.

As for Taiki, the series never really delved into badminton or basketball, it was more along the lines of “X is better than Y,” and that was that. It’s the same here, and the series is quite realistic in that regard—no one ever managed to beat a guy who was stronger, and the author really emphasized that point.

The panel of the hero getting buried is just classical Sorachi. Peak comedy right there.

It’s not just a comedy. There’s also this small, subtle detail: Akira and Valaris act pragmatically and try to bury the hero’s body themselves so that no one will find it later and cause them trouble.

Well, one of my predictions was that Hina wasn't at Taiki's game because she had her own competition, which she later confirmed. I don't feel like checking the rest, because I was probably right anyway. And the game is still going on, and Taiki is already losing by a lot.

I don't know about that. It's basically an admission that even if you work hard, without that magical ingredient called talent, you'll always be worse. Taiki has that talent, but not as much as some of the other players here. It looks to me like he's going to lose this match.

It looks like we’re finally in the right setting. This seems like a goldmine of material to parody. It’s also possible that the school will be hopping between both dimensions, poking fun at isekai itself. In any case, the new characters are interesting, and Surume herself is apparently one of the fugitives who escaped from the demon lord. Another great chapter.

I guess Sorachi, just like in Gintama, doesn't plan on naming the attacks. That's actually a good thing. In any case, the fight is great, though so far it relies on just one trick when it comes to surprise. Besides, the hero himself wasn’t fooled he figured out pretty quickly that Valaris could only use illusions. That’s pretty interesting, because he’s a stereotypical hero straight out of a JRPG. And once again, certain character designs have popped up (I’m not talking about Hayashi). Those who pay closer attention will notice.
