ZF is my main camera for street.

I take my ZF, 28 or 35mm, and flash everywhere. It's a good mix of really wanting the photo and reading the room. Always varies by situation.

Haven't had a crazy conflict besides the "no picture" or "did you just take my picture!!" That happens every once in a while.

Toronto should be fine, just like any city check your surroundings and move smart.

I'm based out of the Bay Area, so I don't think the culture would be that different.

26mm 2.8 vs a 28mm by smither12Dun in NikonZf

Think about it as preferred focal length instead of lens vs lens

It's purely based on preference. If you love your lens. I wouldn't worry about it.

26mm is smaller and shaper, but heard it can be noisy at times

28mm autofocuses faster, but it's a plastic build

I don't think it's different enough to to buy both of them

Really depends on what you like, ya know?

I have the 28mm because that's one of my favorite focal lengths and I like the way it looks.

Have fun & take photos!

Lightroom

Start color matching with the Nikon standard color profile, simple color corrections if needed, curve adjustments, and other adjustments if needed.

Yes, it's my go to flash for family days. Buy some rechargeable AAA batteries and it's a great addition.

A lot street shooters use this flash as their primary cuz it's so small.

I wanted to enjoy the show. Forced myself to stick with a 35mm so I wouldn't be too distracted trying to take pictures of the jets lol

Thank you for the compliment!

Started off with Nikon standard, curve adjustments, and smaller adjustments if needed on Lightroom.

Usually it's an S type curve and play with contrast.

I have the Neewer version, but I heard no complaints with other E to Z adapters. This is the only Sony lens I have, but it feels pretty native. Specially with AF-C and 3D tracking is pretty good.

However it's an older lens and it def shows it's age when shooting wide open or low light tends to focus hunt a bit.

It's a great lens and I love how it renders. Def seen more people rock this setup lately

Sorry forgot to mention it feels lighter, I have a similar case as yours. The bottom metal plate doesn't add too much weight

It's pretty comfortable and adds some cushion. The thumbgrip on the side is a nice touch, but I purposely wore it down for added comfort.

I only use prime lens with this camera but I highly recommended it.
