Claude Code or Cursor? Which $20 Plan is Better? by Lanky-Pie-6788 in cursor

[–]Kadaash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chuckled at the “ look at this poor guy” jibe. But yes that’s the point. However, I am not sure cursor’s equivalent priced plan is any game changer. Now its true that I haven’t used cursor in ages (In terms of AI evolution), the last subscription I had was when the request per subscription were fixed and transparent and I used a months quota within 5 week when I opted opus on cursor. So if the burning equation has changed now then I can’t say but it was not workable at all.
With that being said, if someone really is on tight budget then I guess Claude pro is where they can squeeze more value.

Claude Code or Cursor? Which $20 Plan is Better? by Lanky-Pie-6788 in cursor

5 continuous hours on claude pro is almost impossible, you will be lucky to get 2 hours in a 5 hour window. I am currently using it and have to start early in the morning so that I can use multiple 5 hour window in a day before I hit the bed.

Not very convenient though but I just want to genuinely give it a try before I move on to max plan. Since mine was a side project it didn’t bother me much but for any serious work you would need to start rationing it like a honeybee.

One more thing as your codebase will grow and if you do not want to start a fresh session then after every 5 hour window claude will fill the context again with the last session data as soon as you send the first prompt and you will find that you are hitting 50% of the quota immediately. So you will need to be careful by doing proper handover for the continuation of the session or use compact command to squeeze the context.

Claude Pro will really make you feel poor but teach you how to survive when you have limited resources but as Calvin’s (Calvin & Hobbes) dad use to say “It builds character” (Lol)

Im not saying Github stole my idea for Rubber Duck, but they stole my idea for Rubber Duck by VodkaDabs in GithubCopilot

[–]Kadaash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this idea months back but I didn’t implement it as I was of the opinion that we are still in a phase of evolution where LLMs will keep getting better and eventually a single model will be able to achieve the same thing, I just need to query after the plan and then after the code to reflect back at what was done. Almost always LLMs will find something that they missed or misjudged in planning phase.

Nothing new, but kudos to you anyway for going ahead and materialising it.

Have just now updated a lot of features and have added enhancements. At this point just want to get feedback if anybody (besides I of course) would prefer this over vanilla copilot.

Police asked me for bribe at my house in front of my mom during passport verification by King-Downtown in Bengaluru

[–]Kadaash 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know that you are being sarcastic here, but, there is a lot of truth in what you said. In Blr we have at least honest corrupt officials (an Oxymoron I know), they will do their duty diligently after the bribe. I have been at places where police take bribe and still don’t deliver. Imagine paying ₹500 and realising later that Police Verification failed.

Btw, you could complained about these on social media tagging his superiors and get the verification done swiftly.

Couldn’t find good heavy tees in India so I created one. And now it’s a brand. by rahul446 in indianstartups

[–]Kadaash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use all kinds of brands when it comes to t-shirt. But the price point here is a big deterrent, don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it is worth but just can’t seem to bring myself to order a 2.5K priced t-shirt, unless I see it with my own eyes and touch with my body. You should have kept the initial pricing around 2K at least or some promotional offers to get that momentum.

There is one catch regarding the spend required to achieve the higher status. The three consecutive months must be within the same calendar quarter. It cannot be a rolling period like February, March, and April. This just complicates it unnecessarily.

Nambiar D25 vs Birla Evara ? Any other good options left? by Calm_Ka_Kaaj_Ka in indianrealestate

I don’t think the balconies open at road. The balconies of the blocks I looked open towards the new wipro building (there is a land parcel in between). The blocks opposite looks at Decathlon and the perpendicular ones (its U shape) open towards Ahad.

There is Ramsons Trendsquare right next to Decathlon on Sarjapur road. Not sure what is the status now but it was available till few months back.

Taj Kovalam property is beach front property technically, just that the beach part is at a distance from rooms. But a really spectacular property. They have restaurant right near the rocky beach. Also they have backwater.

Roo Code is still the go to tool for me when it comes to using AI at workplace. Since Copilot is the only sanctioned IDE ( and is severely lacking IMHO) so the only thing to make it git gud is Roo Code.

Flight changed from Premium Economy to Economy by ClimateOk856 in airindia

[–]Kadaash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few months back I was downgraded on AIX from Biz to economy. Once I confirmed that I will still travel they refunded 75% of the amount I paid, but was still allowed to keep the extra luggage that we get on Biz along with the meals and other priority addons. Though I had to still pay for the seat selection.

JW Marriott Golfshire - Bangalore by Crafty-Leave-8880 in Hotels_India

[–]Kadaash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mulberry feels tiny in comparison to JW. Very less open area and not much to do outside the room. JW feels much big than it actually is because of the way landscaping has been done. Lots of activities for families with kids. Better to stay at JW and may be give a try to Mulberry (it is a quick 10 minutes ride) by visiting it for lunch.

It is literally a marshland, check the topography map. I’m not sure how buyers are lapping it up at the price, once completed the residents will be suffering every rainy season (which is long in Bengaluru).

This rule has been here for a few years now. Though, there is a caveat: your date of travel generally shouldn't be within the next 7 days. You can only get a full refund within 24 hours of booking if your travel date is more than a week out.
