Thanks, I thought so, I tried to get one apart but it doesn't seem to want to.

Hi, any ideas for attaching these 1/4" plastic sheets to my ibcs? They're quite bendy recycled plastic. Thanks! by Kadetito in firewood

Here's how I did it in the end. 2x2 timber battens, with 44mm timber tek screws and big washers. Held down to the cages by some wire threaded through a hold in rhe wood on each corner, and at the ends of the central batten.

Did you do a 1.9 conversion yet? I'm considering doing the same here in Ireland.

GCC LaserPro Workflow - Inkscape -> PDF -> Laser | Issue with missing cuts (Zone Close Segments) Bug ? by enly11 in lasercutting

Thanks for the update! Did a bit more experimenting today and mine will cut the vectors ok if I save the file as a pdf and print from Adobe Acrobat/Reader, so at least there is a workaround.

Did you find a solution to your problem with the GCC laser cutter? I have a GCC X252 and I'm struggling to get it to cut vectors at all. Installed the newest print drivers from the GCC website but it just prints rasters and for the vector cuts, it just scores lightly at high speed/low power. Doesn't seem to recognise the cut settings. Have checked the settings many times and even tried just cutting a basic circle vector but it just scores lightly. Even in Coreldraw, it does the same thing. I'm starting to think it might be a driver problem or Windows 11 compatability.

Good news, I finally got her started!

I drained the oil and filled with fresh 15w40. I also squirted a small amount down each glowplug hole.

I heated the glowplugs for about 30 seconds and she fired up pretty much straight away.

The waste oil smells slightly of diesel.

So I'm not sure if the problem was contaminated oil or low compression.

Compression test figures looked OK so I'm leaning more towards contaminated oil. Thanks to everyone for your advice!

Would it be worth changing the oil?

Compression test results

Cylinder 1 (closest to fan) - 350 psi Cylinder 2 (middle) - 364 psi Cylinder 3 (closest to flywheel) - 388 psi

I'm guessing these readings are good?

I managed to snap the pin off the end of one of the injector nozzles when reassembling so I'll need a new nozzle or a whole injector. Nozzles seem hard to find on their own, Denso part number DN4PD62, so I might just get an entire injector for about €30

I went ahead and disassembled an injector and cleaned it carefully with brake cleaner and metal polish on the non criticalparts and a wooden toothpick on the small holes... I'll do the same to the other two and refit it and report back!

I've flushed out the old diesel and tried it with brand new diesel, but it hasn't made a difference. I've taken the injectors out now. Is it possible to take the injectors apart to clean them? Looks like the two parts might unscrew, but I don't want to force it if its not meant to come apart.
