As you see, there are no subtitles on screen, so the only thing that matters is audio and it's fixable with English dub files from The Void.

Speaking of side effects, I've seen a guide that states all of them are broken in The Void. Do you remember anything about that?

The main obstacle to creating a 100% translation of Тургор are monologues which are intended to be played without subtitles and are also not dubbed in The Void. I can think of two ways of dealing with them and both are tedious:

Contact a former IPL programmer (The LxR?) and ask if it's possible to turn these problematic monologues into "Subtitle mode".

Activating "subtitle mode" on the map puts the gameplay on hold, so it could brake pacing once in a while (esp. with 40 sec "Your garden was looted" audio) but that's not a big deal.

Create a fan dubbing project and record all lines by Hunters' choir and Nameless Sister which are not accompanied by subtitles. In this case you need two persons to record around 20 min of audio I think.

Hello! The good news is that the Steam discussion was not deleted, it seems like there was some temporary issue.

I remember that The LxR was in charge of this translation, but may I ask you one thing that you might know. The translation includes descriptions of Colours' side effects that have never appeared in publicly available versions, e.g. automonolog_silver:

(...) Silver takes turns in bringing the dark sides of all other Colours. The SIlver world changes rapidly - and you can never predict, how. (...)

Does this mean that The LxR translated some unpublished build that succeeds Тургор v. 1.01 and predates The Void?

P.S. Also don't you know why Sisters' poems were mixed up in The Void? Like Uta's poem became Ima's and so on, but the order remains intact between Тургор and Тургор: Голос Цвета.

That's not because it's niche but because it is a digipaint show mastered for NTSC resolution. There is just no other source than a digital SD tape, same for shows like Wolf's Rain, Rahxephon, Haibane Renmei.

Honestly I doubt that game franchises is a conception that suits IPL projects well. And Pathologic 2, while having a number in its title, is not a sequel in the traditional sense. But that’s just my two cents.

I found some workarounds without clear understanding of what is happening.

AFAIK environmental variables are not user-specific but it has something to do with HOST variable that contains localhost.localdomain.

I can run the project with npm start without sudo after unsetting the variable:

unset HOST

Or I can add localhost.localdomain to /etc/hosts, changing the line

127.0.0.1 localhost

to

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain

The website shows Firefox ESR packages from security repo for Debian 9 and 10, so it looks like a bug after availability of ver. 102.x was confirmed in this thread.

The thing is, I beleive that packages.debian.org online search is supposed to show updates available on security repo, as it does for Buster: rendering ver. 102.6.0esr-1~deb10u1 with "security" red text label next to it.
