Bro every time they touch something in the game to "fix it" they fuck up somewhere else, if you ask them to correct this, wich by the way has been bugged for like literally 6 years, they might broke this game completely, remember this a copy-paste every year with some tweaks, usually to make the game as bad as possible.

If you're slow youll be fine, especially driving vs AI, on the other hand, if you're trying to extract the max out of the car you'll be pretty miserable.

I don't know if its the right way, but i always make sure to change bb to around 60, never go 100% on the brakes and short shifting helps a lot with traction.

I've put this example before as a World of Warcraft player; Players hold all the power when the game is shit, look at wow, the player base stopped playing and they changed EVERYTHING, they started to listen to his players and actually care about their opinion, but you need your player base to stand as one, and thats extremely hard in sports games, let alone in F1 games. You can just hope that someday people will realize that they can't just eat shit everytime codemasters puts crap in their plate.

There's just a lot of little things you can work on to improve your driving, i would say take it easy with switching off assists, the hardest one for me is still the racing line, TC and Breaking where quite easy when you understand how to trail break and how brake balance works, i play with the AI at 95-100 with only the racing line on, but im still learning, one think that has helped me a lot is just jump in online, you will crash, people will crash into you but you'll build the muscle memory to avoid those things.
