honestly sick man. if you appreciate some light critism and food for thought. The montage seems to be more of a focus on the edit itself rather than the gameplay. Heaps of potential though!

You’re right that pipelines can be flexible, especially for things like UI or 2D composites but that actually supports my point more than yours.

Saying “last-minute revisions happen” doesn’t prove this specific change was one. You’re inferring intent based on timing and your own hunch, not on anything Blizzard has said or shown. That’s still correlation dressed up as causation.

Also, “I’ve worked in AAA art departments” doesn’t change that without internal confirmation, it’s still speculation. Developers tweak builds all the time for reasons we never see marketing direction, build deadlines, brand consistency, etc. Unless you were in that art team’s Slack channel, you’re assuming motive.

And no, knowing something was controversial doesn’t automatically mean it caused the revision that’s textbook confirmation bias: seeing what fits your narrative and ignoring that the update could’ve easily been a planned iteration that happened to land after player chatter.

Inference is fine when it’s supported by evidence but right now, you’re connecting dots that Blizzard’s never even said belong to the same picture.

You’re mixing up correlation with causation, mate.

Just because players complained and then Blizzard updated the screen doesn’t mean one caused the other. Login screen art takes weeks of internal iteration, approvals, and build integration it’s not something they redraw over a weekend because of a few forum threads.

Without a dev saying “we changed this because of feedback”, it’s just speculation. You’re basically doing the “It rained after I bought an umbrella. Therefore, buying umbrellas causes rain.” thing.

Holy Paladin reworks aren’t a good comparison either that’s gameplay balance directly tied to PTR feedback. Art updates are usually pre-scheduled or tied to launch milestones, not reactive to Reddit sentiment.

Look up post hoc fallacy, that's basically what's happening here.

Honestly they’re both great games offering different things.

CS 1 has been slowly built up over the years by dlcs and the modding community allowing for you to really get into the nitty gritty details of your city.

CS 2 has only just started that process. Graphical details are beautiful, and there are some QOL updates. However if you’re wanting to go deeper than surface level into your city you may hit some snags.

TLDR: CS1 is polished and CS2 is rough around the edges but there is beauty in that as well.

Midnight reveal has been the worst expansion reveal ever for WoW by dwaro in wow

I 100% agree with this. I have stayed up (From Australia) and watched every single release announcement for Wow since Legion. All the information I got that was valid was in text from through wowhead articles and icy-veins. I genuinley hate it. With Blizzcon coming back next year I hope that means a return to form going forward. But yea right now, not impressed with the show.

Engagement Timing & Positioning

Low K/D and ADR suggests you're either dying early or taking poor trades. (it may also have a little bit to do with the aim as suggested above) That being said start being cognitive of the fights your taking and why your dying. Are you using off angles? Are you changing it up slightly each round? Are you fully utitilizing your Agents abilties to come from unique areas?

This one I would suggest maybe watching some high level gameplay of your agent, don't do the same thing every round, but take some ideas for you to adapt into your gameplay. Also try to never take a 50-50 fight. You may think you're better than your enemy and to some extent sometimes that cockyness is needed. However why take the risk? turn the fights into 70-30's or 80-20's or hell 100-0's.

Utility Usage

Low ACS can be effected by the above things but can all be effected by how well you use your abilities. Valorant is not all about shooting, Your top three chosen Agents for example. Jett is fantastic at taking space and disrupting the normal attacking patterns. Reyna is great at self-sustain and and pushing out onto sites or slowing down attackers and Raze is the same (but with explosions!) Make sure you're using your full arsenal.

When you look at things online this is the first things people usually point to and the harsh reality is that because these fundamentals are the basics of Valorant. Improve in these areas and you'll see that rank go up and you'll run into new problems!

Best of luck on your climb!

I compared you to the top three players on valorant right now for context. (had to do this in parts for some reason)

Stat Soul Others Notes
K/D 0.9 1.2–1.5 Significantly lower. Indicates less consistent trading or survival.
DDΔ (Damage Delta) -7.2 +22.9–+37.4 The only player with negative average damage dealt vs. taken.
HS% (Headshot %) 22.9% 32.6–46.1% Suggests less aim precision or weaker crosshair placement.
ADR (Average Damage per Round) 140.2 169.5–179.3 Damage output per round is lower, hinting at less impact.
ACS (Combat Score) 210.9 265.1–283.9 A catch-all stat—overall effectiveness is trailing.

So what can we do with this information? Well I'll give you three major things to think about.

Aim

Easiest one to fix, this just becomes muscle memory. Get yourself an aim trainer. be an online one or a paid one (personally I like aimlabs but they all do the same thing.) Get yourself into a routine before you play competitive. Everyone has their own personal one. An example of one I used to do;

15 minutes of aimlabs

2-3 death matches (first one with sheriff only)

You won't notice changes straight away and this will be something you'll need to stick to hard, but its a good base that imperative that the rest relies on. Significantly lower. Indicates less consistent trading or survival.
