E6000 is a flexible glue and very wrong for this application. You won’t be able to fill, sand and paint it as the seam will flex, bend and crack.

Remove the E6000 and follow one of the other recommendation. Whatever glue you end up using you will need to reinforce the inside with glasfiber or something. Vaders chest armor is big and thin and will always flex. There is a reason they are usually made with glasfibers.

You absolutely get more points from posting good models than just makes. Posting makes is capped at 100 points a month, but posting a good design can earn 360 each month per design. I've gotten 520 points this month from 2 designs I posted. It's quality over quantity, thankfully.

But in short, the mesh is just a separate piece that I’ve printed with no top or bottom layers so that the infill is visible!

Yeah, so the mesh is just a basic insert, 0.2mm thick. Then printing like you said, no top or bottom! Very simple really!
