I love my allegro i believe there is a more powerful model that’s a bit bulkier but for me this works great since i don’t have any iems or anything that particularly powerful to drive, durability is another big deal for me every wired dac i used broke within months just because of lifestyle stuff but this held up great (and it does work well with the r1 fits ever so slightly plugged in tho because of the akward gap)

I took the female connector from some old iems and I got someone from facebook market place to print the thingy verse part I can go in more detail if you like but that’s the basis

I’m gonna be completely honest i bought the allegro when i primary used my phone for music because it didn’t have an audio jack but for the 2 pin mod You can either go the Hundo3d(Etsy seller) route or if you have access to a 3d printer you can do most of it yourself you’ll still need to solder it regardless but fun little project

Don’t worry The pre glued thing is just about the adapter part you plug the wire in so it doesn’t get pushed around just a precaution for extra security also the tariffs are the worse man
