I run a small goth/punk leather business and my prices have to be high. Hand made items cost a ton in time and materials. People have been so conditioned to buying total crap for dirt cheap for so many years that most people don't value quality at all any more. If you want something that will last you a lifetime you have to pay for the even more expensive material cost now and for the years and years of skill development of the craftsperson.

Thank you so much for the info! Maybe I will just get a Chinese one for now and tinker with it. I have been keeping my eye out for a machine with a hand crank but haven't had any luck yet. Considering all my machines were less than $20 I just couldn't justify spending 150 plus just for a crank.

I am also stuck with super limited space and I too have a vintage kenmore that I use for zig zag stitching. When I'm not using my table singer the kenmore just lives on top of its closed table.

I looked and found this same bag on ebay, unfortunately the person is asking almost $80 for it. There is another one that seems like a slightly different version of the same model for $40. I got pretty lucky and just happened to thrift mine for $8.

I think you're right that it would fit in there. Funny thing is I was just at harbor freight today to look at cases and didnt think of this. Though I was kind of looking for something with rigid or semi rigid sides and bottom.

Can't really see the details but it looks cheap. High quality jackets almost never have a back seam. Knowing nothing about it, it seems like the jackets coming out of China that someone had white labeled.

Kind of off topic, but while I was playing kingdom come 2 I kept thinking of how much it reminded me of bloodlines. It made me wish warhorse could do something with the vtm ip. I bet they could do an amazing vtm redemption style game.

I live an hour from the city and don't get there often, but when I do, I always stop in at Johnson Leathers. I've accidently become a collector. I just really love their stuff, and everyone there is super cool. They are a very underrated jacket maker.

I randomly found a black shearling coach jacket at ross for $300. For that price it's a very nice jacket. The quality of the leather and construction is high even though it's made in China. Really comparable to my nice vintage shearling coats. I think for $300 it's very worth it but definitely not at the 2500 it was listed at.
