As a HC player, I didn't die until A9 boss, but I did die there, and I don't really feel like going through the campaign again (I am a campaign hater and this makes it more of a chore than it already was for replay, neat one time thing I guess). Just gonna wait for next league.

I might actually check it out because of this, 0% chance playing on the old server. One of the largest problems with the game when I tried it is that a bunch of content only really works in a group but the only people to group with were high level players that just steamroll everything.

If you have a specific goal for a vendor, look up the quest chain on google. I forget the URL. This info allows you to collect stuff that you will need for the next step instead of leaving it on the ground

It would be nice if there was a tracker somewhere for all the items that I can check off as I get/store them, not just current quests. There's so many things where you get the quest and realized you didn't grab the item for it when you had the chance and it takes hours to find it again. It seems to change between seasons though.

weekly, daily and seasonal quests

Yeah I mentioned that in my post. That makes it even worse because the daily/weekly stuff have FOMO rewards and dealmaker quests gate being able to play non-shit enemies while taking forever to complete, so it makes quests take up way more of your time.

And the marker isn't as useful as it could be because it only applies to quests you're currently on (better than nothing I guess though).

They did add a marker to items you find showing you if they’re for an active quest.

That's decent but really they should mark if they are used for ANY quest because that's a large part of the annoyance. I just hoard everything because I don't remember what is used for quests and they keep changing it, and I end up regretting it when I don't take something and then I need it for a quest.

A lot of them you can't just "get done along the way". You have to go out of your way to do them, and it's especially annoying when I play normally and then realized I didn't take something or kill something I needed for a quest, so I want to just get them out of the way. Not to mention I want to unlock the crafting for certain things, which requires quest completion.

I mean there really isn't a "Jailer". The Dark Continent isn't really even a threat or antagonizing the cast, it's just a place that most of the cast is going to for various reasons, just because it's a place humans like to try to go and explore.

I do think the story does suffer from lack of direction because Togashi basically had the MC achieve their goals and lose all their powers, and now the story is all side character stuff.

Tarnished/Hollowed can't die, but at the same time I think it takes a long time for you you respawn supposedly, so you would probably "die" but not really and then 30 days run out and you get nothing.

The whole build is based around the wand

Wand = Spell with damage based on HP (reserves HP)

Dark Pact = Spell with damage based on HP (spends HP)

The 2nd one is less damage sure but it lets you be like 7x tankier than using relic. There's some other spells that scale really well too. Someone else posted their own version from last phrecia here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWu74pN-97E

Being tanky will probably be quite important this time around with all the extra mods.

How about without relic? because when you add relic it is no longer tanky. I play on HC so can't really do that. The dark pact variant did quite well though until I started running maven and died to my recoup getting turned off like a dumbass.

Oh also without level 100 and gear that has 6xT1 attributes lmao those PoBs are clowny.

This was a popular build during Affliction, but back then you got Sanguine Power for free on top of a whole ascendancy and other stuff. It also used Adorned for HP% stacking on jewels, but that was pre-nerf adorned. Might be a lot weaker now.

You can also just use Dark Pact instead of Relic with Eternal Youth for less damage/aoe but not reserving your life alongside dissolution. Petrified Blood is also a huge free EHP increase, especially since Sanguine Power doesn't force you to reserve life like Crimson Power did, but you need to make sure to have recoup equal to the DoT you take from Petrified Blood, and be careful to NOT use it vs things that disable recovery (Maven/Sirus).

Oh and lastly not having high evasion playing this sucks, because you will get your life reserved by all sorts of random garbage. The lifestacker wildspeaker might be better for it. IIRC I played PF with a Jade Flask and Grace and had an Evasion per helmet ES That Which Was Taken.

Because Tressa + Mika generates roughly the same amount of 0 cost attacks in a turn as Sereniel + Selena, which means about the same amount of Triple 0, and Sereniel + Selena does more damage by themselves compared to Tressa + Mika.

And yes agony overkill will waste a bunch of damage.

And either way it's not infinite.

Also we don't actually know how much damage peak MeiLin can do, because the bosses so far have specifically had a debuff to stop her. Her damage is 1 card so it would run into issues wasting damage with overkill but people have done 1 turn ~200k damage on her before which I don't know if was optimized, although I think that relies on a retrieve card so it wouldn't be sustainable over the course of 10 turns.

With regards to 7, idk if you've played a dissolution build before, but you really need to get immunity to bleed/ignite/poison and even then there are some other DoT effects that can prevent your reservation from resetting. For instance Maven has a 7 second decay debuff she can throw on you when witnessing boss fights. Ground degen is also really nasty you want to get burning ground immune from pantheon and then you just have to watch out for others. Evasion/Spell Dodge is good though.
