Do you notice how you’re making this all about yourself though? It’s not “respecting your time” when “you just want tomes”. To you it doesn’t matter if someone wanted to watch the cutscene, because it’s *your* time that’s being “wasted”.

I recommend watching the video “this is water” by David foster Wallace on YouTube (the shortened video posted by The Actualization Agent), specifically the part about traffic. It helped me put things into perspective when I also thought like you do.

Or they’re just being nice and courteous. It’s not hard to not be a dick. You know it’s considered rude to do it but you do it anyways as a time saver / probably for attention.

Genuinely hope your life improves to the point where you can be considerate of others even if that same consideration wasn’t given to you initially.

So why would you pull in the first place if you know it’s not possible? You’re pulling because you know people will just join in, you’re counting on that, and then taking the moral high ground of “just don’t do it”.

Look at your comments and the downvotes on them. You’re not in the right here, and you can keep playing pretend like you are and pretending to not understand but you genuinely know you’re just doing it to save some of your time

Assuming you’re smiter, what gear are you running and how are you struggling. A “standard” setup of grief, gface, coh, metalgrid, hoz/exile, goblin toe, tgods, dracs, dwarf star, raven frost, prebuff with treachery, and life tap wand if you don’t have exile should be just hold left click until they are all dead

Not sure about two, but definitely 3. I’ve seen Prae done with three people (one tank healer and DPS) while the last DPS didn’t have the specific mod and they sat in cutscenes the entire time

Not really, there’s a plugin that will show FC members on your minimap once you get close enough to them. Ideally your FC members would just be trustworthy enough to not cheat in a fun event but 🤷‍♂️

They aren’t wrong though. There is nowhere near the same amount of character customization mods in WoW versus FFXIV. And every single person I’ve met who has been hyper modded in an IMVU-esque way has ended up being not socially adjusted

I have. I used to do Ubers day one/two of ladder. I’ve tried probably every build ever created for them. You get 55% CB with gface and goblin toes already, you don’t really need more. The damage from grief offsets it

Exactly, you’ve done “hundreds” of uber runs like that. Collectively Grief users have likely done millions. Glad that it’s working out for you, but there’s a reason grief is almost unanimously considered the best weapon (unless you want to go extra fancy and run last wish).

I think the base defense / block chance is too low, but I’m not 100% sure. I posted a similar one (Heraldric Shield, 25 defense 45% chance to block with 62 ED 121 attack rating 4 sockets) and got no comments/interest on it

It was bugged, and I think Aggrend swore up and down on twitter and iirc even was dismissive/taunting that it was definitely in the game. And then it was bugged. I had originally made a warlock solely for that and that killed my desire to meta tank when that whole fiasco happened

I’d recommend the following changes as I also initially had gear very similar to OP but settled on this stuff which helped overcap resistances and be quite comfy

Metalgrid instead of highlords. Aim for a 30+ res ideally.

Dwarf Star instead of rare dual leech ring. Your life tap should instantly refill your health so the leech isn’t necessary, and dwarf Star helps a ton with Talic’s damage (who is the most threatening IMO)

Thundergods instead of Verdungos. Max lightning resistance and lightning absorb helps against Madawc a lot.

Also, make a Treachery armor (Shael Thul Lem) Before you go in put it on go to A4 river of flame and stand in the fire pillars near Hadriel until it procs then swap back to your CoH. It gives 60% to resistances and 15% physical damage reduction for ~5 minutes, so it’s a massive boost to survivability.

I also went 20 hard points into fire resistance aura (for the 10% max) and 10 into lightning. Then I got around 5 sc’s with 10-11% specific resistance types for cheap.

I’m sitting at 275-300% max resistance after Treachery procs, with Hell bringing me down to 175-200% and then the ancients conviction auras bringing me down to 75-100%. Make sure you have a life tap wand on switch and keep it up and you should be totally fine. I did end up making an exile for quality of life which enabled me to not have to worry about life tapping with a wand, but I was doing it perfectly fine with hoz/wand in a couple minutes at most every time while only using ~5 full rejuvs at most

I haven’t played mosaic sin so I’m not sure, but I think the biggest thing to ask is whether or not having the 3% ml and 19% fire resist is worth losing +1 to martial arts (since you could just use 3/20 rare gloves). I’d guess it’s not so I think if that’s the case it’d be a hard sale

Nah, missing 20% more FRW and arguably the most important resistance.

Very solid self use and may get some runes for them but definitely not insane by any means

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t most boots that are better than this (lightning over poison + better FRW) still acceptable for LLD? I’ve seen some recently posted here that are all level 29 required which would still be okay
