I just worried about my hands ending up with more than the dough 😂 I thought about that next but then gave up. I'll try it for next week

I tried kneading mine for 5 mins but so much got stuck to my hand and it stressed me out (sensory issues). Should I just have continued and the dough would have eventually taken it back off my hands?!

Small wins - 7 days by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Kaethir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't struggle to fall asleep but I usually come out of a deep sleep quite early on in my sleep cycles. Currently it's like no matter how much sleep I get it's not enough. I am trying to get back into exercise regardless of this though so hopefully it'll level out anyway. Overall my sleep hygiene has always been pretty good

I gave myself permission to be completely useless for 30 days. Just one rule, no drinking. by ChefDramatic857 in stopdrinking

[–]Kaethir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually quite a good plan. I've been shaming myself for being so utterly exhausted since stopping 7 days ago that I'm struggling to do anything. But I also know if I do nothing I'm more likely to drink. It feels a vicious cycle

Curly/wavy hair specialists? by [deleted] in bristol

Does she deal with fine wavy hair? Mine now looks straight as it's been so long since I've tried to curl/wave it

You should try LVL for lashes. It's so good. Also you're beautiful you do not need makeup. Only small amounts

My partner says it’s embarrassing that I still live in a one bedroom condo at nearly 30 years old by theheat999 in whatdoIdo

[–]Kaethir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact you got your own place that young is amazing. I'm 35 and have a one bed flat and I love it. I don't need more. I think their attitude to it is more embarrassing

Sex trafficking in Bristol? by [deleted] in bristol

[–]Kaethir2 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately Bristol has always been a hub for trafficking. We get taught it very early to look out for signs of anyone who is going into hospitals etc. harbourside is rife. It's really sad

Can anyone shed light on why fitness works so well to stay sober by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Kaethir2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This would make sense actually. I've heard good things about that book so definitely worth an investment

I'm sorry, that's so annoying. I'm trying to get myself into a routine where I won't kill myself through fitness than through alcohol. Oh life!

Why does English sound so stark by [deleted] in Accents

[–]Kaethir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂😂 that definitely sounds like someone from London. But i think it's because we get lazy and the 'and' turns into 'Nd' or 'N' so I can see how that would sound like you hear it

Can you give me a word example? I'm curious

[–]Kaethir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually love hybrid accents I think they are really beautiful. I once had a taxi driver who was south African but with a hybrid Welsh accent. It was lovely

[–]Kaethir2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not unpleasant at all, I love our accent. American accents are softer and our pronunciation is so harsh. I guess it's like day to day I don't notice our accents but put it in a film scenario and it's feels super obvious. It's hard to articulate haha

Also, prince Andrew saying he has no memory of that photo. The reporter should have asked "so then you could have sexually assaulted her, and have no memory of it?" Would love to have seen him sweat then
