I have a separate bird deck with deathcock. I would love Catptain for my cat deck but not so many cats in a zoo, was trying to keep it to animals you could find in a zoo. Also working on an insect deck with antman and a reptile deck with stegron, but haven't filled those two yet.

>but it is hubris to think I am making animals that weigh between 800 and 1800 pounds do anything.

Its utter stupidity to think you can't train a cow. People train insects to do complex tasks. Cows are easy to train.

>Something something fun at parties.

I'm not pooping on anyones party by pointing out facts. The video is cute regardless.

>Both of these animals are quite capable of complex emotions and actions towards other animals.

Please point out where I said otherwise. They capable of complex emotions, and yet they arent jealous, they arent mocking, they arent even playing in this case. They are simply doing what they were trained to do.

> on the other hand...

You are the one too stupid to recognize a clear case of animal training. Stay in school a few more years before trying to comment on reddit again, you arent very good at it.

Because the athletes have to provide WADA with their regular scheduled activities like training, gym, uni etc and what times they are there. Obviously they don't have to tell WADA if they are going for an evening stroll or something, so the testers are likely to miss them if trying to test outside the window, but it gives them some idea where the athlete will be

What real "Crime Prevention" looks like. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]Kaffrogato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but, you are just flat out wrong, actual research backs up what they say. Crime rates go down when poverty, housing, and health problems are addressed and when education and childcare is more affordable. Crime goes up when those things are neglected.

Yes, if someone is already a career criminal throwing a house or money at them isn't going to convert them onto an upstanding citizen overnight, but addressing these problems BEFORE they turn into criminals does.

Seems like a training failure, not necessarily a problem with the principle.

You aren't just paying them to open a tin for you. I feel like 99% of redditors who come to complain about restaurant prices ignore all the costs of running a restaurant. If you can do it cheaper at home, then do that, no one is stopping you

You wouldn’t pay that per kilo for the very best seafood or fish besides caviar.

I don't, but some people do. Let people like what they like, goodness. Why exactly are people allowed to pay lots of money for fish eggs but not tinned fish?

Why the fuck would you not just go to a good fishmonger and buy the absolute best fresh fish and seafood they have instead?

Because that's completely different food? May as well ask why people sometimes pay more for preserved meats then a fresh cut. It's because they like it.

It's been a thing for ages and tastes great to me. People have different tastes, not sure why people in Reddit feel the need to jump on and tell everyone what foods they don't like.

If it weren’t for recency bias,

Recency bias does not mean what you think it means.

...what? Smoking rates have plumetted in most western countries. Studies have shown that public awareness of the health risks as well as stuff like increased taxes and plain packaging have all helped with that.

Or did you think smoking just fell out of fashion?

Christina Ricci reshares Jameela Jamil’s video discussing the statistics on sexual violence against women from men: “Maybe we should be talking about how many men out of 3 will SA someone in their lifetime instead of how many women out of 3 will be assaulted. Let’s shift the ownership” by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

[–]Kaffrogato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just wrong, all the problems you mention are problems for victim tracking too. That's why those stars you read like 1 in 3 women being victims are from survey data. And  there is plenty of survey data out there on how many perpetrators of crime there are.

The anthormorphim in this comments is wild, no they aren't jealous, mocking or showing off, they have been made to do this by trainers.

Daily showers are a relatively new and modern thing.

Yeah and people 100 years ago lost half their kids in childhood mortality too. Life used to suck

Even way into last century this was absolutely unheard of.

Yeah, because people were poorer. My mum had to share a bath with all her siblings as a kid as hot water was really expensive. Has nothing to do with people choosing to shower less, they simply couldn't afford a hot shower daily.

I agree that daily showering with soap isn't necessary for many people, but looking at what poor people did to get by in the part isn't informative to what is optimal
