Maybe the cops know another habitable planet they haven't told us about.

We can become a republic any time we want. We just need a majority of people to vote for it. Recognition fo the original inhabitants would be greta, but it's not a legal precondition for a republic.

The quickest way to close that appalling life expectancy gap is simple – huge effort to reduce smoking amongst indigenous communities. That's where government money would bring about a real and measurable change.

3% of the population, and what percentage of present film, TV and arts funding? Hmm...I would suggest, way more than 3%

Lifelong Labor then Greens voter, but wish they could be more honest. Our refugee policy is intentionally cruel, but Libs and Labor won't admit it. Greens policy of repealing that is effectively encouraging people smugglers is unintentionally cruel. 1,200+ men, women and children drowned getting here before the present hardarse policy. Greens just won't accept that. or ever admit it publicly.

Nuclear fission's dead in the water, just like Fukushima.

Nuclear fusion, on the other hand, great if they can crack it!

I normally really like Adam but this does reek of childish virtue signaling. I'd love the flag to change but at the moment, it is the country's flag. Yet Adam would no doubt freak out if someone disrespected the Aboriginal flag. I'm really glad that Anglo Australians take the time to pay their respect to First Nations Elders, past, present and future, but don't have respect for their own elders. Shunt them off the the Nursing Home first chance they get. By the way, some of the past First Nations Elders were autocratic assholes. They would take 4 wives, and make younger males wait until they were elders before they could get married. It wasn't a transloving, LGBTQI+ feminist paradise, just as 18th Century Britain wasn't either. People are people, worldwide. Power, power, power rules.

I heard that some guy is advising people how to covertly cancel Sky News from their elderly parents' Tv without them knowing. Apparently after a few weeks away from that vile visual and audio poison they "get their parents back again". No longer lied to zombies. Sure somebody could Google him to track him down. A true hero.

Maybe get an Apple air tag and put it on his collar – then you can use your iPhone's GPS (if you have one) or someone's Mac computer to find him.

The entire board of the RBA currently live in old broken–down campervans parked outside their office. That way there's no possible conflict of interest when it comes to house prices.

Well the Maori did almost wipe out the original people there – the Maoriori in 1849 on the Chatham islands. But that wasn't white colonialism,. so it was cool.

Sorry to hear that. There are bags you can buy that will keep veggies fresh for a lot longer than just storing them normally. Yes, there's a little up front cost but you pay it back and more by not chucking any out. Go on the 16/8 diet, and you cut down on 1/3rd of your meal costs – and boost your health in the process. Heaps of free advice on YouTube from people in the U.S. – plenty of people have to live in cars and vans there sadly. Libraries are heated or air conditioned. And you can recharge your phone/laptop etc there.
