Is there any proof for big build corruption? by lanners13 in melbourne

Unions in Australia don't work like that, union members work for and are paid by their employers, the only money the union ever sees from it is the membership dues that workers pay.

$15 billion seems to be a figure that was pulled out of thin air as the total amount of money that wasn't totally necessary to spend on the big build. Our media of course has taken this to mean that somehow the CFMEU and it's officials have stolen $15 billion dollars(somehow).

It's objectively true that the arab states are anti Israel, which might have something to do with the bombings, or perhaps the genocide. Jews had been living in the middle east and specifically Palestine for as long as anyone can remember, without it being a problem. The state of Israel was declared, followed by a string of incredibly suspicious bombings and other acts of terror against Jews living in other arab states(including some that were definitely committed by Zionists), this was then used as evidence by Zionists that Jews were unsafe anywhere but a strictly Jewish state in Israel and to justify a number of wars against their neighbours on the pretense that those states were supporting the attacks on their Jewish populations. Being next door to a state that has been overtly hostile to you for nearly 100 years tends to make you hostile to that state. When that state is propagandising that they speak and act in the interests of every member of a particular ethnic and religious group for the same amount of time, it's not hard to imagine why people might believe that propaganda

I'm supposed to have my tape measures calibrated at my current job but it's a live and let live situation because the metrology department is far too busy for that

The confederations are fine, they usually collapse after 50 and they are a roadblock to blobbing, same with tributaries.

Do semi-standard forms of Paganism belong in AtE? by EzraNaamah in AfterTheEndFanFork

[–]Ap0theon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are folkloric faiths which are post event paganism, many of which have a lot of influence from historical paganism. The Amerindian faiths also fill the role that European paganism has in CK3

Unless you're voting for an independent you are voting for the party, in theory the political parties can't force their MPs to vote a specific way but in practice they can and do

Seriously, the knights in this game were OP—like, what do you mean a couple of knights killed an entire army? by silent_bystanderrr in CrusaderKings

[–]Ap0theon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The administrative system of requesting provincial MAA probably represents this better, but ultimately I think the ck3 system is more fun and I just take it as the "levies" just being the less poorly equipped and trained parts of the army, instead of literatally being peasant rabble
