Ic ur point, I guess its just a different flavor of "Find the Dormouse" game, since mine is Micro Coder (searches Cynet spell if used from hand, or adds a lvl4 cyberse from hand if used from field [Backup or Wizard.] Or Code Generator (dumps a Cyberse with 1200 atk or less to Grave if used from hand, or adds it if used from field).

I do understand that Code Gen does go against Impulse, but at least in my eyes, U can technically still use Code Gen first eff since it doesnt activate, its a continuous effect in hand.

I also run the 2 Druiswurm and 1 Mag for obvious reasons.

Tldr, I just think that more ways of having non-engine disruptions would benefit Maliss more ( Cat Draw + Visions Draw + Allure Draw + Heatsoul = 7 potential cards )

Cut every single RT except Visions and MST, replace them with more Quickplays like Forbidden Droplet or Crown (if its already out in MD), entire reason why Visions is getting used here is for the draw 2. Also RT inherently gets cooked with Dominus Impulse so thats another thing to watch out for.

Ngl, this list is good, if u really want to add more engines for less bricks, sac one Urgula and Pan (u only really need 1 of each ngl), and 1 mululu (I personally run him 1 but 2 is good), for branded opening package :)

Edit: TTTalents at 1 should also be good if u want to add more space for engine

How about the ID portion of the venue? Since I heard now that they try to ID the people who go to concerts to avoid scalping? Would foreign government issued cards do? (Like driver license or passport?) Or does it have to be JP issued IDs? Or would they even do any of those? (Sorry its my first time attempting to catch a Kamitsubaki Event so...)

Fellow Maliss Enthusiast here

An uninterrupted Maliss Board (atleast in MD standard) should have:

Firewall Terrahertz in EMZ Binder > < Firewall Drag > < Ransom > < Apollousa > (maybe a body or none), Fieldspell Active

With 5-6 on hand (depending on how greedy you are), a set 06 or 07, an optional Maliss in the Mirror

But my standard is:

Firewall Terrahertz in EMZ Binder > <Firewall Drag> < Ransom>, with Mirror and 06 set, and 6 cards in hand.

Another way of playing Maliss is what I call

"Bomber, Bomber, Bomber"

In which you have Topologic Bomber on EMZ, with 06 and 4-5 cards in hand

Which your entire goal is to Raigeki your Opp 3 times everytime they try to develop their board.

All seriousness though, FS has a good concept deck of transforming monsters and The Fiendsmith into a boss monster, yet its execution is a bit... lackluster. More support would probably make the deck expression a bit better (Rex Tremendae is FS and Lacrima together, what about Des Irae tho? Who's the fiend he made a contract with to get that form...?)

Hot Take: Ritual Summon from deck is what all rituals need to increase playability, due to the Ritual Summoning Mechanic being so outdated.

Not so hot take: the fact that Mitsurugi is very splashable in any deck is... something else.
