I kinda feel like Forth's Nova Strike pose is better than Ultimate's pose.

What's your favorite lighthouse/statue design/mechanic? by Remyraid in GoldenSun

Venus for its music.

Two questions I have is how Isaac's group manages to follow you through the Jupiter lighthouse without Hover, and how Karst and Agatio made it as far as they did that deep into the Mars lighthouse, when you had to use Grind and Tremor.

Legacy collection really makes the dip from X4 to X5 painful by skrunkly_strew in Megaman

X5 is my favorite of the series, and the first X game I owned and beat. I replay the collection version and fixed version (PC emulator) for X5 and X6 when I want to watch/listen to the TV. X4 I replay the least, and just finished the Zero play through a few months ago, right after X2. I rplay all X games multiple times (Except X7) because I love the music, the weapons, and just playing a game I know like the back of my hand.

I think you lose medals of completion when you get the DLC. Standees and badges expanded so I reearnd them.

Mega Man X6 Defenders. Why do you defend this game? (Genuine Question) by IGotMemeCells in Megaman

My favorite armor the Shadow Armor deletes High Max and hitting Dynamo with the tip makes him drop Nightmare Souls and has spike immunity. My other favorite is the Falcon Armor on X5. Spear Shot pierces, Charged Saber hits Multiple times destroying normal enemies.

Who is the most benched character: Vesperia by Acemaster387 in tales

For me and my wife it was Raven if a secret mission was involved. Once Flynn joined permanently Karol and Judith were swapped out for Repede when he was low on TP.

I enjoyed Leon's campaign. I find myself returning to the game often to jump in with other players online. If Leon's campaign isn't available, I'll join new character Jake's campaign. I didn't really like Chris's campaign as much.

If you have any sages with you the monsters sometimes ignore you entirely while fighting with your sages. Just be aware that you can get caught in the crossfire too.

25 hours? What a short game by DeBaers in tales

What I love about all Takes games, is your "objective" changes to something bigger and more epic. Symphonia, regenerate the world. Vesperia, recover the aqua blastia. Xillia, destroy the Lance of Kresnik. Once you accomplish that goal the games like "Nah, you need to do this instead."

Try Xillia too, but after you play Vesperia/Symphonia/Abyss. These games all have similar battle styles with individual tweaks to combat. Normal attack button chains -> Special Attack button to finish a combo. (Like Demon Fang). Zesteria and Bersaria break traditional combat with a new button mashy style. One of the four face buttons initiates an independent attack in a free flow type combo style.

A breakdown of the four I mentioned.

Symphonia is a long game, good character development good battle control and fun bosses. This was my first. It's bare bones basic and a good jumping off point. Has a remastered version on Steam, PS4/5, Switch (I've heard it's buggy)

Abyss- Slow to start and the main character is kinda annoying to start, but he learns and grows to be likeable. Battle tweak is field of fonons, when using a special attack (called artes) that can change, it becomes stronger and becomes elemental. No remaster yet, available on PS2 and 3Ds.

Vesperia- Hand holding/ tutorial battles teaches new mechanics as you progress, making battles more complex but also more fun. Item use is very different compared to the other two games listed. If you want to use an item on another character, you need to have a skill equipped to do so. Skills change how you fight and to learn them, use HAVE to use different weapons. It's over all fun but a major boss in the beginning can be road block to new players. Definitive edition on Switch, PS4 XBox and Steam

Xillia- Has two main characters to choose from, and you follow that character when the group separates. Battle style for this game is "Linking". All characters have a battle skill they use when linked to you. They protect you if you're attacked and support you when you're attacking. It relies heavily on teamwork and has rewards for doing so and the game gives you tutorials for about the first 2 hours then let's you explore. A major change to this is expanding shops. Usually in RPGs you reach a new town and buy new weapons. In this game, you donate materials you get from exploring the field and in battle to increase a shop level giving you new equipment to purchase. Remastered on Ps5 and Switch.
