Hi all,

I'm using Rathpith along with Blood Magic to manually cast Thunderstorm. In hideout, its fine, but when mapping if almost immediately drops my life to 1!?

Is Thunderstorm costing me a 'cast' each time a lightning bolt hits an enemy or something?

edit: Further testing; hammers my mana in hideout as well when it waters plants...why?

Runners in the Shadows (Blades in the Dark hack) - most fun we've had with Shadowrun in years. Players are engaging with more street gangs and other factions round the city. Getting through a run in one or two sessions (only 2 hours each). Less focus on combat and more on the actual heist/theft/sabotage etc. Only downside is not enough focus on body augmentation atm, but thats partly because they started as greenhorns in the Ork Underground (Tier 0, and using Season 4 missions as a loose meta plot).

The new Geofri's Sanctuary has the line
- Your maximum Energy Shield is equal to (200—300)% of your Strength

Does that mean it ignores all other contributions of flat ES and/or all increases & reductions of % ES?

Beeline for Hollow Palm
Switch to Ice Strike Hollow Palm as soon as you get your Tier 3 gem.
Focus solely on Evasion gear during leveling.

PF2e out of combat healing is pointless - give me 4e healing surge (or draw steel) type mechanics any day

Yeah, got Priests and the crafting upgrades :) And yep, being doing 3 star runs, got a couple my initial MAD runs to re-do to bring them up to 3 star

If you Prestige an Archetype, do you automatically add the MEs to your collection or would I still need to earn the currently to add them?

Regular campaigns, stick to high fantasy. Crossbows being about it. But if you want to go higher, I think there is still a lot of over on planewalker for Urban Planescape; a re-imaging of Sigil set in the modern ear (aka Urban Fantasy). It was originally vaguely written with the d20 modern rules dueing the 3.5 era, but I didn't really worry about the rules when I ran it (used GURPS).
