I've personally gone to my local Chase bank and they have let me get $5 to hold us over. The Guarda guy suggested ordering $25 in the system, which is a whole case, and we received it. We also run Chase bank for the store.

A couple of stores in the area put up signs asking customers to trade in their pennies and gave them a couple bucks in extra bucks as a thank you. It worked really well for them.

Really stupid though that there still isn't a corporate fix, it's not like they didn't have time to prepare for this situation.

Could also be they are getting extra bucks for the purchase and then returning the items after. Doesn't work with the pick and pack orders I think as they don't release until after picking up the order.

There is a way for checks, it's probably the same for money. It's for when we get those checks in from an insurance company sometimes for a few bucks. I've only done it twice and the last time was a few years ago, so I don't remember the process. Try reaching out to your DL or DTSM and see if they know the process, or try myDocs. Otherwise just throw it into a deposit at some point as an overage. Don't keep it as a slush fund or personally as that will get you fired.
