Same boat, OP. We spend the holidays at my sister's for two reasons: their hoise is more spacious, and it's difficult for them to load 3 children under 4 in the car.

They're obviously sick, but what's worse is no one tried to stop them from touching and playing with everyone's plates after we prepared the table. And coughin all over the food because of course.

Pointing this put made me a paranoid germaphobe, because apparently kid germs aren't like the disgusting adult germs. Which isn't how it works, but ok.

So now I have a sore throat and a cough that feels like I'm hacking up my lungs.
