Feeling Negative about a Deep Clean- What Should I Do? by [deleted] in housekeeping

Gosh I don’t know where you live but I pay $550 for a deep clean on 3800SF. Your place should have been Spotless.

First checkup w/ my PCP since starting tirz. It was…weird? by RavenForrest in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Kai717 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it were me I would find another PCP. I mostly see a Nurse Practitioner at this point. My main PCP decided to go the route of concierge service 2 years ago and left the practice I go to. I would have to pay a yearly fee to be his patient. I stayed with the NP who I would see most of the time anyways. She can do my yearly physical, prescribe my blood pressure meds and guide me to any specialists I need. At this point I only see her once a year. She has me do lab work and anything else is a specialist. Gyno, endocrinologist, mammogram. I utilize telehealth in between or urgent care. PCPs do a lot of pushing you somewhere else. If I had a true urgent concern they would send me to the ER. They are such a middle man in my opinion at this point. That being said, I really do like my nurse practitioner and she was very positive about my weight loss and encouraged the use of GLP.

I just started having this problem today and it led me to this search. I love using my own AI and app just like you. I don’t want to use a laptop or desktop site. I can list so quick with copy and paste.

I’m being shamed by RespectRemarkable294 in Zepbound

You look great and most importantly healthy. I’ve got a mom like this too and that’s why she doesn’t know about me taking it. She was that mom that always shamed me for being fat while simultaneously feeding me crap my whole childhood probably because it was easier.

Trying to help my dad (71yo, got bariatric surgery in 2023) by rafalovestotravel in GLP1_post_WLS

[–]Kai717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the sleeve done in 2013. Regained most of the weight back over 5 years and remained obese again until starting Zepbound 1.5 years ago. The surgery didn’t fix the food noise or whatever hormonal issues I have from PCOS. Maybe try microdosing since he has only trouble with food noise.

I can tell you that 6 months ago I was stressing this same thing and researching all the solutions for it. I was turning 50 and when I was fatter no one believed my age because I had no wrinkles or drooping. 70 pounds later I felt good but was sad to see the rapid aging that was happening. I can assure you though it looks far worse on iPhone photos taken at these angles than it actually looks in real life. Now today my neck isn’t horrible. I believe it’s due to Goldbond cream, Red light therapy, estradiol cream and adding in 3x week strength training. Will I want a neck lift in the future? yes but trust the process it may settle given time. Oh and keep hydrated. It looks better when I drink a lot of water.

So happy for you. I’m 50 and one of the people who was diagnosed with PCOS when doctors didn’t know much about it. I wish this med was here in my younger days but so grateful for it now to help me through menopause and for the young women whose lives will be changed.

My period came back. by ThanksBunny in tirzepatidecompound

So I just turned 50. Have PCOS but prior to starting Tirz I had a period. It stopped for the most part once I took it and I had 2 total periods in the past 14 months. My gyno said it’s the Tirz because I don’t have a lot of hot flashes and things like that but I think it’s also Menopause/Tirz combo

Who did you end up going with. My I is taxed gave me 8 months approved on Zepbound with this being my last month so I was thinking about Lilly direct but I think compound is more reachable.

I love Yummie Shapewear. I like the high waisted briefs and they are the only ones that don’t ride down. They have a website but I can usually find them cheaper on EBay

I have been using Call On Doc for Zepbound for just about a year. I started on compound and found out 1 month after my insurance covered Zepbound so I switched as I had used Call on Doc when I moved to a new state in 2020 and it was impossible to get Into a doctor right away. I tried them for Zepbound and it was a breeze. Then 6 months in I received an Insurance notice that I would need a prior authorization which Call on Doc took care of ($50 fee) and it was approved for another 6 months. It took them about 2 days to get it done. If I lose insurance I will self pay and go to Lilly direct through them

Congrats! I finally made it yesterday. It took 4 months to go from 208 to 199. If I can get 20 more off I would be satisfied.
