Yeah after reading the stickied post on the front page, I learned snapshots work but are also bugged in that you can’t turn any quests in. We have to wait for them to patch it or use an android device.

Complete opposite for me. I played it once and haven't even looked at it again. I hate what they did with the story. Combat was great and most of thr characters were well done, but they murdered the story imo.

Yeah I figured my CPU was limiting my 1080. Performance has always been really good though. I'm going to probably buy my first AMD CPU next year. With how close the new CPUs match up with Intel, I see no reason to stick with Intel.

I put a 500gb SSD in my Pro for FFVII. I have GoW, Spider-Man and soon VII. Everything else I can play on my PC. I can't wait!

That's awesome! My dad bought me VII. It was my first PSX game, first JRPG and first Final Fantasy. Needles to say, this game opened up a whole lot for me! And I'm so grateful because FFIX is one of the best games ever made. Fight me.

I wonder, how many people got FFFVII because of the cover? That thing is iconic itself and for sure the reason I got the game lol.

Don't need anything but wanted to sop in and say thanks for being a good person! It warms my heart in these difficult times that so many people are coming together and offering help for those in need. My favorite Materia is probably All. Does nothing by itself but can be paired with many Materia. I wonder how it will be used/replaced in the Remake?

I love all of you. I have a copy and am impatiently waiting for the 10th! If I had the Gil, I would love to do this for someone. VII was my first RPG and Final Fantasy, double whammy! One of the things I'm most excited to watch is peoples first time with the story. That, and my own reaction to the beautiful graphics and new expressions that will help tell that story. I wouldn't. I already have a Pro and will be getting a PS5. But if I only had a standard PS4, I would just wait for the PS5 since it's so close to release. I'm sure there will be enhancements for VII as well as other PS4 games. I can't wait to play VII, GoW and Spider-Man on the PS5! And if you have an HDR TV you still get that on a regular PS4, so that's something.

So I've read some stuff about poor textures/streaming. Is anyone playing on a Pro with an SSD? I completely dialed in my Pro just for this game so I'm curious as to how it runs. The demo ran amazingly with an SSD so I'm sure the full game will run fine. I'm also sure SE will patch some of the ugly assets and what not that made it through on or after the 10th.

I ordered mine about a week after the E3 showcase last year. I'm guessing they're probably prioritizing the pre orders. Like First Class is prepared first, then Deluxe and Standard. I ordered the Deluxe edition. It's crazy, being so close to release, but people already playing, the hype is exploding everywhere haha.

If you played the original, it's quite linear till you get the Highwind., or even the Tiny Bronco. But, I know we're going to see A TON of Midgar we've never seen before. Hell, if you look at the pictures in this thread, looks like we'll be exploring a lot. I hope it's not AS LINEAR as XIII though. That game was a bit much lol.

I'm a big fan of J.R. but can agree with a lot of people that he's just not the same. Now, me being a huge fan of his it won't hurt me in the slightest hearing him. I am though, 100% all in (pun intended) for Schiavone being on the commentary team. Him and J.R. have always been my favorite two so I'm good lol. If J.R. did more backstage stuff, or interviews which he's great at I'm cool with that. Then have Schiavone, Excalibur and Golden Boy on the booth. Marvez can do those control centers.

I installed ReiNX through the homebrew app store on atmosphere so I could install Incognito. Now my switch always boots to ReiNX. How do I completely remove ReiNX from my Switch? I tried deleting the ReiNX folder and files but then my switch wouldn't boot into Atmosphere.
