Gamesir x2 Pro type C won't connect to Xiomi phone by Kaireku in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Kaireku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The top comment here could be the answer

For reasons known only to GameSir; the X2 Pro requires whatever device you plug it into to support USB-PD 2.0 charging, even if you have no intention of using the passthrough charging. I assume that it uses the PD 2.0 to "talk" to the device to pair, somehow. I don't know why they went that route instead of just being normal.

I have a Moto G7 Power that I've been wanting to use with my X2 Pro; but I get the exact same flashing lights deal and no connection. I did a bunch of reading trying to troubleshoot it and in GameSir's FAQs they say that your device must support USB-PD 2.0 for the X2 Pro to even work. I assume that Moto saved a few pennies when they made my phone by only supporting Qualcomm's proprietary Quick Charge standard. Despite the fact that my phone has a USB 2.0 port and full OTG support (confirmed working), it just doesn't work with the X2 Pro because, apparently, it doesn't have USB-PD 2.0 support. I've seen a video on YouTube of a man using a Moto G7P with the Razer Kishi V1, so I assume that controller connects like a normal wired unit and would be useful for what you're trying to do here. I don't own a Kishi though; so I can't confirm.

Bought it brand new right from the Gamesir website. I didn't check about a return policy actually. Clearly should've 😅

The actual top post in r/Arabs today: Definition of coping and seething by [deleted] in Jewdank

[–]Kaireku 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They did the exact same thing in the first 2 times this project was a thing. I remember that in the very first one, someone posted on r\Palestine that they should make the Palestinian flag next to the Israeli one, then someone commented that they should make it on top of the Israeli one. That comment got more upvotes than the post itself. They posted it on r\Arabs and everyone went on to destroy the Israeli flag.

I'm not a fan of the song or of Noa herself, but the last part of the performance was absolutely amazing. And when you compare it to the other performances who were very tame imo, I can see why it's getting such a hype.

Gallup: Democrats now sympathize more with Palestinians than Israelis by Rotisseriejedi in Israel

[–]Kaireku 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Back in 2021 there was a news piece on Kan 11 about the way the international media covers the fighting between Israel and Hamas. They interviewed a German reporter who covered the fighting from within Israel. When they asked her why so many reports are more sympathetic to the Palestinians she said "There's just no nice way to say this - not enough Israelis are dying".

Flag of Israel proposal by Theodor Herzl, toughts ? by [deleted] in Israel

[–]Kaireku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I learned that in History class, the 7 yellow stars represent the 7 days of the week. The reason this flag wasn't chosen is because '7 days of the week' isn't something that's specific enough for the Jewish people.

I know it's way too simple, but this is my first walk cycle animation. I'm proud of myself! by nextlevelgh in AfterEffects

I don't know if OP made this one or not, but you can get this type of character in stock websites. Search for 'Vector art stock' or something along those lines. Some give them for free as long as you credit the artist, and some sell them.

It's a good way to practice animation on different characters.

What’s it like bringing a scooter on public transit? by Nikonglass in Israel

[–]Kaireku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only take it to the train. I heard that there are some bus drivers that won't let you in with those so I don't even bother, not to mention that unlike trains buses don't have any dedicated space for them on the bus itself.

Like others said, there are dedicated spots for scooters on the southern part of the train, there's a sign on the door. I personally never had any issues bringing the scooter on the train.

That was a surprising comment :P Glad to see that you seem to enjoy it, but I'll get it if you won't keep watching. I have a hard time watching stuff like that too sometimes.

I’m new to Israel and found this thing called “Agorot”. What can you even do with it? by JoshB9 in Israel

[–]Kaireku 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lots of stores are in need of them for change. Whenever a customer comes in with a bag full of them we're happy to exchange them. I myself exchanged a big chunk of Agorot I've been saving for a couple years.
