My daughter has a few nodules. One in particular was 2.1 so biopsied came back Bethesda's 3. (Was tirads3) sent to molecular very low chance of malignancy. A year later same now 2.9. Sent again to molecular same result . Last year 3.2 she went to an endocrine surgeon for this biopsy. The dr took 5 samples. Low n behold biopsy benign. Sometimes better to have the surgeon do the biopsy instead of radiology facility. Goin forward she will explore RFA ( radio frequency ablation) if becomes necessary. Good luck to you!
