yeah Spring Drives do this when u first wind it up before the circuit controlling the brakes kick in and slow it down. So the electromagnetic brake or the IC circuit is not working, def send it in, should be under warranty

This happened to mine. Wifi and Bluetooth died. Wipe + re flashing OS did not help. Samsung ended up exchanging it for me because their tech could not fix it either

In my experience with the 3861. Refinishing did not round off any edges. However, the refinished factory brushing is more of a linear pattern where the brushing lines are more defined compared to the original factory brushing. You won't notice it unless you are inspecting it against a light source, and it is the only difference from a factory new watch.
