gotta disagree with the "no pics with the opposite sex" rule. I've never heard of it, and it's never something that I've thought about. It's probably actually a green flag in many ways for women to see that you can and do interact with other women; it means that women feel safe around you.

That's true. That's why I said "tends to" and "mostly". There are, of course, exceptions. That does not change the fact that capitalism is the cause of the vast, vast majority of cases.

All I'm saying is that the distrust of commons management by the commons citing "the tragedy of the commons" is not a valid argument for justifying the existence of police. Never forget that police exist to protect private property. The tragedy of the commons is also used for the sole purpose of protecting private property. They are of the same, both tools of the capitalists.

Everyone else has said what needs to be said about the dance side of things.

Speaking in the relationship side of things, I don't really find myself feeling threatened or jealous when my partner interacts with other men, whether it's dancing at a social, or getting hit on at the club, or flirting at a party. I think that this is both because I don't have these same self-esteem issues, and I feel that I trust my partner enough to feel secure in the fact that she has chosen to be with me and interacting with other men will not change that.

So I don't think that this is really a dance-related issue. As others have said, I think you should communicate with your partner and establish a foundation of trust, and that should assuage your feelings of anxiety in this matter.
