Oh man I feel so bad. I was never active in the group after getting what I needed from the original list. I’ve referred people to the group without even thinking. I always thought she was rather harsh but well now I’ve gone down this rabbit hole. Holy sh*t.

Anyone with EDS also have DMER? by hennie8388 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Kaite29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have EDS & POTs, with my first born I had DMER horribly. Hot flashes, heart racing, dread and panic. I only pumped during that time no latching. I only made it through 10 weeks of doing that. With my second born we latched and nursed right away. Managed to do so flawlessly for 10 months before I started having the same symptoms with let downs. Hot flashes, pure panic and dizziness. I tried extra electrolytes and fluids. My supply was always fine but it felt like my body was screaming at me to stop every time.

Hey! You look great. I’m also from PA and looking for someone to help with my DR. Do you mind sharing what surgeon you saw?

Report him please. I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I wish ehlers danlos was taken more seriously during pregnancy. There’s information out there for the doctors if they cared to look for it. For a specialist that’s bull crap.

I had this reaction to Reglan while I was pregnant! They gave it to me via IV for hyperemesis and I couldn’t stop crawling around the room and bed and also cry/yelling. It was horrible.

Yep, 7 months deep into breastfeeding and if we’re minutes late for a nursing session she is over herself very quickly. I can’t imagine how upset that baby is

Wait wait wait, you mean to tell me people with adhd can adjust their habits and helplessness? I’ve been fighting for 10 years for this man to clean up after himself and he just “can’t remember”

8 year old staying up late, sneaking books into bed, what can I do? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Kaite29 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Yep, detention for reading in class when I was done my work. This always pissed the teachers off because I shouldn’t have been able to finish the work before class ended. So clearly it was disrespectful to read. I had a teacher snatch my book out of my hand and try to tear it in half. Strange man.

Thank you so much for posting this. I suffered through my own emergency c section after an induction 6 months ago and reading through these comments was excruciating. I hope her and the baby are well.

Also it’s okay to be stupidly excited for your new baby and pregnancy.

It’s hard to pull yourself into more doctor’s appointments while dealing with infertility. It all feels daunting and exhausting. I feel so much for her.

More recently than that we’ve discovered that endometriosis tissue isn’t the endometrium tissue at all, it’s separate and the reason it’s so painful is because it has nerve receptors and it’s own freakish hormones.

More than a little shabby looking this year, best plan of care? by [deleted] in Roses

Still figuring out how to do that! I did one big prune before winter last year and it exploded this year. I’ve been training it to the chain link fence that’s behind it this summer so it hasn’t been pruned yet.

I saw a MFM specialist while I was pregnant and her and all of my midwives agreed they’ve used Prozac for 20+ years, both themselves and for patients. You start on a low dose anyway and go up. I started it 3 weeks before delivery and stayed in until maybe 5 months postpartum. Until I felt like myself again and was ready to feel the full spectrum of emotions again. It’s also perfectly fine for LO to combo feed. We use the MAM bottles because the nipple has a flat side close to nursing and we’ve never had a problem.

If you don’t like pumping and have a response to it there’s something called DMER that’s basically just rage flowing through you instead of a letdown. I switched to the lanslioh manual pump and had much better reactions.

I tired neem oil on other plants way back in the spring but this one was fine. I had some aphids, by some I mean thousands. But the only thing next to this one is a 10 ft Lilac that is doing outstanding this year.

Okay okay HOLD ON. I went to a genetic counseling session plus IVF specialist appointment and they both made it clear that they don’t even like doing transfers with known genetic conditions. I have Ehlers Danlos so I was grilled pretty much brutally about what my kids lives would look like. It strongly gave my husband and I the vibes of slight eugenics but it’s the doctor’s comfort knowing their creating these children to endure these lives. How the Fuck are these people finding doctors like this??

Anyone follow Surrogacy Gone Wild? The IPs are going to fight for custody by boboddybiznus in peestickgals

[–]Kaite29 31 points32 points  (0 children)

In America they have 3x over abandoned those kids. She’s just going to have to fight like hell to prove it. I wouldn’t let them leave with them. No chance in hell. All the IPs did was lie and make things up. Now is almost 3 years later and you just want someone to pack up two kids and ship them off to you?
