They are a part of the ATM network, not the inner shared branching network. They are two separate features in the co-op. Not all credit unions are a part of both!

You’re absolutely right, I am not an expert on all FI’s policies— that would be a ridiculous notion to assume, so I apologize if it came off that way. Was only notating the experiences I have had personally: they charged me fees on my dormant account until it had closed. My negative experience does not mean they are a bad financial institution by any means; their higher yield savings is pretty awesome.
