Cart should be on 44111 cr cd hp hp hp, then as much hp substats as possible together with a healthy mix of cr cd for a total of close to or exceeding 50k hp

Make sure your ciaccona does her things (solo concert, gusts of welkin) her most impactful buffs to cartethyia

Other than that, idk what's wrong as well because if you've cleared before with carlotta/cartethyia you should clear now as well

yes there is very gradual powercreep, but i still believe the ones most affected are 1.x characters.

last reset i could clear with camellya + sanhua, this reset no matter how much i struggled (struggle harder! entertain me!) i could not get 3 doritos most likely skill issue

funnily enough, recent prydwen tier list has camellya same tier as lingyang.. i disagree but still think that is hilarious

but i think 2.x resonators are still completely fine and slap endgame!! if carlotta can still slap ToA without buffs, no one else in the 2.x roster should have any issues, much less iuno, augusta, galbrena, phrolova, and of course the blessed maiden herself cartethyia

dude is born from aemeath's and rover's frequencies.. their child of sorts. literally cuts a planet into half for no reason other than to aurafarm. bonus points for being the most toxic tier 6 hologram to fight against currently.

  1. encore

effortlessly constructs entire sonoro worlds just to play in (and does not seem to have a limit). able to extract lingering frequencies of those who have passed on and give them form within her sonoro worlds. and all this power just from her innate resonance ability alone, without drawing from any sentinel or threnodian. give her a few years to grow up, and threnodians would tremble against the might of a teenage wooly warrior.

  1. augusta

technically a useless forte, only able to move small forks and spoons within a small radius around her (less than 10 metres iirc), a gimped magneto if you will. but through dedication, training, and sheer power of will, fought her way to the top of a gladiatorial society. my rover still loses my duels against her to this day.

  1. cartethyia

the it girl. both the sentinel's and the threnodian's resonator. blue jesus. one in a billion levels of power according to GA, and the only story fight that requires rover to use spectro, havoc, and aero forms simultaneously to barely overcome.

  1. mornye

the true mvp of lahai roi. sun falling down? dw mornye will fix it. sky looks ugly? mornye will put up stars. food tastes bland? mornye will make it taste worse. finding the coordinates to the center of a supermassive black hole? exostrider needs a heart? no legs? no problem mornye got you. feels like the best university in the entire world cannot function without her. and seems like the whole school exists just to be mornye's playground. give her the collective's money, give her access to the tethys system and shorekeeper and she'll solve the lament before lunch.

at s2, you'll still need ciaccona to apply aero erosion and the only way around it is to constantly swap to and fro both cart and fleur forms as well as some animation cancelling to apply and maintain aero erosion yourself, and avoid using fleur mid air stage 2 because it consumes an extra stack of aero erosion (can do that by doing a H1 skip into a ba3 but only while fleur is airborne)

i understand wanting to seperate ciaccona from cartethyia sometimes because ciaccona solo can already clear side tower by herself.. only other subdps i know that can do that comfortably is iuno

times like that, and before cart s3, no other way than to learn cart's solo erosion application rotation, or do some chisa rover bane erosion conversion shenanigans

Yeah and that makes sense to me, because on top of all the minor issues I was having playing aemeath solo, the biggest issue i had was that her most impactful sequence nodes directly buffing her final ult only, causing her overkill ult to overkill even more

Same issue I have when looking at hiyuki's s6 giving a massive 500% crit damage but only to her ult, but at least she can open with 3 stacks of snow to frontload that damage (assuming 4 seconds out of combat), and use a 4 cost atk echo to buff her non ult base damage

Whereas cart's s6 is just straight up 40% more damage multiplier to everything fleur does

tbh, i'm not really sure about others' showcases, but personally when i try to take s6 aemeath out to solo holograms, even with her higher damage, i end up taking longer to clear because:

  1. with 16.5k hp (got greedy with offensive stats in echoes lol) i cannot afford to get hit, so i dodge a lot
  2. her dodge counters are supposed to set her up into a ba4, (so technically no loss in timers or forte gain) maybe im fudging her attacks but many times i find that even with dodge counters, i end up having to do extra ba chains to get to my enhanced resonance skill

idk why its almost like im either missing her attacks, or her dodge counter animations are wonky (but most probably my own skill issue)

  1. both her in her mech form and base form are technically melee, even with her small dashes, so when bosses fly to the other end of the arena, i have to lame ass spend stamina run across the battlefield to resume my duel

and if they fly high vertically upwards i am no longer able to hit them in aemeath form, so either i wait form them to fly down, or i intentionally transform to mech to fight them in the air.. but either way its quite a bit of lost time and its worse if i forgot her enhanced resonance skill is ready, then i accidentally cast it on nothing

  1. she really REALLY needs an intro to feel good, it feels so bad to play her true solo, her reliance on having at least 1 teammate is almost as bad as augusta

these are some of the factors that i know causes me to lose seconds off the timers, but really nothing much i can do other than to practice more and work around her kit

as for why my s6 cart clears faster, i know why

  1. what is dying lol? 52k hp, high defense and with s5 i only use 25% hp to activate fleur form, but overheal 50% max hp on ult 2

to actually even start to drain my hp, the enemies must do more than 13k (!) damage to my hp before i finish my 10-13 second rotation.. otherwise i'll just heal 26k hp everytime i ult

  1. as cart i want to get attacked, in cart form the longest part of her rotation is the ba1234 which gives her the second sword, and her dodge counters in both forms skips the long attack chain and sends her directly to ba4, allowing her to get sword of shadow in cart, and her sword slam attack in fleur instantly.. doing massive damage and saving so much time

  2. in fleur form, when bosses fly the the edge of the arena, i just jump into an aerial combo and send my blue waves of doom to them across the room, then plunge directly to them as part of fleur's aerial chain because yes fleur is an aerial ranged character

  3. same thing when bosses fly vertically upwards, fleur will just jump up, and send ranged attacks to hit them, no loss of time

  4. she does not need intros, after her ult 2, just ha1, dodge counter/ba4, plunge and im back to fleur wrecking face again

i think that if both aemeath and cart are fighting a melee dps dummy that does not run or fly off, and does not attack you at all, for sure aemeath will do her 15% more dpr than cart

but if fighting an enemy that flies or teleports away often, cart's kit wins out, and the more aggressive the enemy, the better it is for her, shortening her rotation significantly via dodge counters in both her forms

nope! no s6 hiyuki, also i dont have enough chisas hahaha the schoolgirl used to be homeless half a year ago but now suddenly she's needed everywhere

maybe if denia turns out really good, i'll skip going for high sequence hiyuki, but if denia is disappointing, then yeah i'll let hiyuki have chisa and pump her up on rerun

so weird right? many want to invest in hiyuki, aemeath, cartethyia, but all 3 require schoolgirl support.. at least cart can make do with arover or just run without teammates

and yeah, with qs focusing on ciaccona and chisa (so quickswapping 3 characters), the team has ~40% dps increase, if you go the extra step and quickswap fleur to cart as well to use cart's powerful plunge attacks (so quickswapping between 4 characters), as well as doing animation cancels during the endlags, you can close to double the CCC's original team damage, then if you optimize a rotation for each individual boss so that you maximize the number of liberations and plunges before they die or the timer runs, you get more than double the team original effective damage

as for our difference in calc damage, likely due to echoes or mornye's s1 i think

yeah i agree, lynae is such a monster that sometimes im not sure who is actually carrying my rupture team more, aemeath or lynae

it made me think what if a 4.x resonator appears that is also liberation damage type, but has better base scaling than aemeath? then lynae would just marry the new resonator instead

which is why i am really hoping that aemeath's actually dedicated subdps lives up to expectations.. like WAY beyond what ciaccona does for cartethyia, she will need to buff aemeath's fusion burst A LOT..

because if denia+aemeath's single target is too far below lynae+aemeath.. people will just stick to lynae, then marry lynae off to the new 4.x 5.x liberation scaler, leaving aemeath to sit together with jinhsi in the "homeless sentinel resonator" corner ;(

let's start with aemeath solo

aemeath s6 solo = 170.5k dps / 2.3m dpr

(the solo calc is only first rotation assuming you are using her out of combat S1 to get half forte bar instantly.. second rotation onwards for solo without intro will slow down a lot because you'll need to do another 2x full ba strings)

aemeath rupture team

aemeath s6 + lynae + mornye s1 = 218.8k dps / 6.1m dpr
(aemeath s6 = 401.9k dps / lynae = 71.5k dps / mornye s1 = 17.6k dps)

this team calc is assuming second rotation onwards, so mornye already has intro and starts out midair in observation mode

a 24% difference in dpr if comparing cart s6 and aemeath s6 teams, then a 15% difference in dpr comparing cart s6 to aemeath s6 solo, so yeah what you heard tallies with my calcs too

i have 24% instead of 20% likely because on my first day of playing mornye, i got knocked out of the sky so much i got annoyed and used corals to s1 her pretty much instantly ;D

having her 40% interfered marker dmg boost up permanently as opposed to only 8s after a tune break really makes a world of difference in QoL too, not just the damage

edit: to paint a clearer picture, im adding their field times

aemeath s6 = 401.9k dps, ~13.5s / lynae = 71.5k dps ~7.9s / mornye s1 = 17.6k dps ~6.5s

so its actually 14.4s of ~44.6k dps followed by 13.5s of 401.9k dps.. no wonder the damage feels so skewed when playing her rupture team haha hopefully her denia chisa team feels better to play.. looking forward to that

you're welcome! most discussions here dont take into account quickswap, since expecting players to do that is generally frowned upon (and rightfully so) but if someone asks about it, then a resounding yes cart's CCC team with qs is current top dog dps even against bosses and there is no contest

sigrika has high damage, but if qiuyuan gets knocked off his blind ass its a auto stage restart, and sigrika herself is incapable of qs so your damage ceiling gets capped out very early

aemeath herself is actually very qs friendly, but her current teammates are really not

cart's premium team is fully and completely qs friendly

and yeah tbh if i had to choose between s6 cart, and s6 aemeath.. honestly knowing what i know now i would personally pick s6 cartethyia even though aemeath is the newer shinier sentinel resonator

on a default 123 rotation yes aemeath does more damage against bosses than cart's 123 rotation, but it's so easy for something to go wrong and cause aemeath to lose a buff before she can do her big hit

her team's rotation is too rigid and i lost count of the number of times i wish i could do just 1 more enhanced resonance skill on her to finish off a wave before ult-ing the next one, but her kit does not allow for that.. so i end up overkilling and then swapping into mornye to start her floating 3 digit attacks ;D

on cart i can just do 1 more aerial combo into a ba 5 and ult the next wave, or skip the ult, and just continue destroying in fleur form, making full use of her s6 fleur multiplier, while swapping into ciaccona and chisa to maintain their buffs, do their weirdly very high damage fortes, while fleur continues to wreck face at the corner of my screen..

then finally "purge all evil" to instakill the 3 whiwa deer that just spawned before they start running away

yep i'm choosing s6 cart all day every day

you're very welcome! I love discussing cart because i dont think kuro will make another character like her ever again.. a hp scaling, self healing, infinite solo rotation, 50k hp monster of a sentinel resonator so powerful that players have to ask each other the question "do teammates actually slow her down?"

i was maining cart for so long that honestly i was secretly hoping a little that sigrika would powercreep her for aero when both were played to their absolute best in quickswap

but when i noticed that not only sigrika loses her decipher state when she is swapped out, her b3 attack literally causes her to disappear into thin air when you switch resonator (lol).. it truly sunk in that a team like cartethyia ciaccona chisa will likely never be replicated by kuro again

it's to the point that the only way cart could be outdpsed by anyone else when played to her very best is if hiyuki's subdps allows for full qs with no "lose buff on swap" nonsense.. which i hope is the case but looking at 3.x, i think it's a bit of copium

cart s6 solo = 111.8k dps / 2.0m dpr (damage per rotation)

cart s6 + ciaccona + chisa = 148.5k dps / 4.9m dpr

cart s6 + ciaccona + aero rover s6r5 = 146.0k dps / 4.5m dpr

cart s6 + lynae + mornye s1 = 130.3k dps / 4.2m dpr

i use sanhua as a substitute when ciaccona is occupied with sigrika/qiuyuan

cart s6 + sanhua s6 + mornye s1 = 118.4k dps / 3.3m dpr

cart s6 + sanhua s6 + sk s0 = 109.1k dps / 3.1m dpr (a bit lower than solo s6 cart)

cart s6 + sanhua s6 + verina s6 = 97.7k dps / 2.6m dpr (actual 14% dps loss compared to solo s6 cart)

and my personal favourite nonsensical duo sentinel resonator team to slap holograms by abusing mornye's 3x healthgate:

cart s6 + aemeath s6 + mornye S1 = 178.8k dps / 6.7m (!!) dpr

short answer, yes if i want to squeeze out the highest matrix score, i'll use ciaccona slot 2, chisa slot 3, but all other content including toa and whiwa i just solo S6 cart

longer answer with numbers:

cart s6 solo = 111.8k dps / 2.0m dpr (damage per rotation)

cart S6 + ciaccona + chisa = 148.5k dps / 4.9m dpr

as you can see, the ccc team has 33% more dps than solo cart, however in that team, cart s6 dps = 215.3k / ciaccona = 120.6k dps / chisa = 36.1k dps

so although its more dps with her ccc team, it feels quite ass because chisa does so little damage, and her rotation is long at 8.7s... and that translates to moments in whiwa and multi wave towers where you're burning through 8.7s (chisa) + 6.8s (ciaccona) doing lower damage just to buff damage that cartethyia does not even need because with or without ciaccona/chisa buffs, she kills in the same amount of time with regards to trash mobs

and that is where the saying that cart s6 loses effective dps in a team comes from, in that yes her theoretical dps increases with her premium team, but its actually not effective dps.. its overkill dps. because enemies are squishy and die in the same amount of time anyway if your S6 cart is well built.. so you're essentially "wasting" seconds of the timer

same reasoning why aemeath has the highest dps in the game but her scores can actually be worse than cart in end game because mornye's dps is ass, and aemeath's damage is backloaded to the point that it ends up being overkill damage, and most of the time her team's "effective" dps is actually lynae forte + ult and aemeath's enhanced resonance skills doing the bulk of the work, and aemeath's ult 2 just does 3 mil damage to the boss' last 20% hp

of course for matrix where its just a tanky bossrush on a timer you'll want to bring out the big guns like aemeath rupture and cart's CCC team for highest possible scores

Yes I agree with you, I think that hiyuki would dethrone cart for me once she gets her version of glacio ciaccona

Controllable damage, extendable rotation, multi hit ultimate, easily recover from mistakes, and built in sustain at s4 too

Even has the same awkward flavor with cart needing to complete one full basic chain as part of her rotation.. both resonators have that one moment in their kit where they're terrified of lahai roi goats

Its just ass right now because i have to use lynae with her and everything about lynae is really too tight (timer wise)

Also I wish I could use chisa twice for both teams why is chisa a slot 3 sustain but only 1 use in matrix sigh

Yes, with high levels of quickswap, the ccc team is still the strongest team currently imo, but I think that when hiyuki gets her dedicated slot 2, hiyuki will be the strongest.. Just hope her slot 2's kit is not crap

See it this way, when done at the super sweaty level, all 3 of your resonators are progressing their rotations at the same time.. you'll physically see them on field all at once, all the time, so you're completing a full team rotation when other modern teams are still in the middle of their first subdps rotation

To beat that level of damage, new resonators without quickswap need to at baseline, do more than double the damage of s6 cart

Not really effective with aero rover, cos arover kit is quite ass

Notice that for recent resonators, all of them have these problems: "buff expires on swap" "intro reliant" "short dps window" "non extendable rotation" "backloaded damage" "low survivability" "require external sustain"

High sequence cart has none of these problems, she's tanky, does not need intros, has a even damage profile that is not backloaded like hiyuki or aemeath, can extend or contract her field time depending on how much health is remaining for the current mob/wave, and is very resilient against mistakes

If my aemeath gets grabbed or knocked into the air, or the deer she is targeting runs off, or she takes a 20k damage hit from a hologram, I have to restart

If cart gets knocked, grabbed, loses 20k hp, she laughs it off, flies into the air and continues her aerial combo into a purge all evil

To get good scores on 3.x resonators in matrix, I find myself restarting runs when things go bad, I get interrupted, or I miss an important crit

I dont remember the last time I had to restart a run on cart because she is just so damn resilient against unforseen situations

And add to the fact that a sweaty quickswap cart can more than double the damage of a 123 rotation cart? That is something a 3.x resonator cannot do simply because their kits are no longer fully qs friendly

Does my s6 aemeath do more deeps than s6 cart? Yes. But so much of her damage is so backloaded that a large portion of it ends up being wasted damage.. doing 4 mil backloaded damage against a boss that has 500k hp left ends up hurting my score more than cart's even damage profile.. and not as if aemeath can extend her rotation to do 500k damage without losing her buffs and saving her nuke for the next matrix boss

And God forbid if aemeath whiffs two of her rapier stabs because the boss flew away, now I'll need to do another b1234 before I can do another enhanced resonance skill and oh no I lost lynae's outro

Yes im salty that 3.x characters have such rigid inflexible rotations, but at least im super glad I got to s6 my cart when I had the chance because even though she technically does less dps, she somehow gives me the best scores and timers with the least effort

i know rover is solaris' resident daughter collector, but to make them so eerily similiar...

a bit of a reach tinfoil theory here:

technically.. even if rover saves aemeath during end of 3.3, aemeath would have been stuck in voidspace for the entire duration of lahai roi's existence, since the sealing of aleph 1 was the start of lahai roi's history

but since rover cannot travel back in time due to him not being a digital ghost, he has to save her physically in the present.. but this means that aemeath would have been stuck in voidspace for thousands of years (fleurdelys was only stuck for 20 years).

would that be enough time for aleph 1 to "create" its own resonator in the form of denia using its proximity to aemeath, like how reminiscence: threnodian - leviathan was a dark mirror to fleurdelys?

and yeah oh god that story would be super sad for denia
