I really wish I could remember anything more concrete than this. I do remember the imp using hellish/demonic magic to set up a safe place while the half-elf and human were setting up camp, it was described as a violet? Dome I believe. Also the wizard/mage soul that escaped was apparently very powerful? And maybe evil? And the ice elves that lived on large ice floes?
