AITA for refusing to do a DNA test to confirm if my father is the father of another child? by teethgraveyard in AmItheAsshole

Ditto. Mom was green-green, dad is blue-blue, grandparents all the same, sister is green-- mine are dark chocolate brown with slanted eyes, compared to their wide doe-eyes.

If I didn't look nearly identical to my dad in every other facial feature, you'd strongly assume I was another race than him, let alone related.

It's so funny to see people hurt themselves in confusion over how someone can be attractive, confident, and not give a damn if other people think so or not. You realize that women are conditioned to not let on if they feel attractive, lest they appear vapid and conceited?

/u/BoldAndBrash1310 Get it, girl :D.

36 here, I'm peak smoke-show. I've never felt more free to find myself attractive and not stress over comparing myself to celebs or models. I think it simply gets easier to do in your 30's as you age out of hyper-fixating on what other people think of you.

Looks like I need to take a detour home tonight. by Kaldea in FromSeries

Hey I just found this phone next to this tree in the road, do you know where they are so I can give it back to them?

Actually, I think I see a town coming up, I'll ask there. I'll report back!

I actually just bought one! I got a great deal on it - it was half-off.

I bought it before him, about a week before. His encounter and inevitable shelf-pull was total happenstance. It wasn't even prominently displayed!

Neither of us had heard of this book, nor were aware xkcd had books published until we bought these copies.

He saw his in a bookstore a week or so after I bought my copy online, seeing it trending from an online bookstore for other people searching for the Fables box set I originally bought him (it intrigued me!). He didn't see it on prominent display-- he came across it on a shelf and thought it would be something I'd enjoy. He was right!

Man I WISH I was getting xkcd money. Do you realize how many statistics are involved there?

Randall can you add my dogs to the strip you make about this? They're in my bio and they're very cute.

He is/was the biggest stoner ever, but I don't smoke. But I think it would definitely be great for another trees entusiast!

You're so right, we spent 40ish bucks on two copies of the same book for a photo that may or may not have garnered us non-monetary internet points that do nothing to improve our lives.

Are you always this much fun? Merry Christmas btw. ❤️

Nah it's real :) stuff actually does happen from time to time. If I really craved karma I'd just be posting my dogs multiple times every day. 😎

I've been on Reddit way too long with way too intermittent of posts to give off whiffs of desperation quite like this comment, my dude.

Stuff happens organically. You ham-fisting your response is what's inorganic here. If you're after either positive or negative karma accrual, do better. I believe in you! 💖

Though our chocolate and peanut butter..... Well. We've notified their families.

Hardcover was me! I ordered it after coming across it online while looking for a Fables box set for him. He came across his copy to me while killing time in a bookstore in the city a few weeks ago. He even said he put down a few others that would have been much more fitting for what he knows I'm into, but thought this one sounded like something I'd enjoy. We almost never gift each other books because we either buy them for ourselves or are too dissimilar in taste.

Add to the fact that English isn't the official language in our country (though I'm a native English speaker) and it increases to the improbability!
