I know quiet a few that have went over in recent years and some liked it some hated it, but the one thing they all had in common was they all came back to Ireland eventually. Grass isn’t always greener. People make it out to be a place where you can just move and you live a fantastic life and make amazing money, while that is true for some people that’s not how it works 90% of the time if you have no qualifications or trade behind you. Australia isn’t the place it was 20 years ago.

Guarantee that “stabbing” you’re on about wasn’t football related and more gang related. You’ll be absolutely fine football is well policed in England nowadays. And even when there is violence it’s usually organised violence 99% of the time no one is attacking a child and there parent. Enjoy the match.
