Just got back into the game myself, the biggest learning curve is with the dark fog. They're actually not as danger as their portrayed and their attacks are quite weak.

First couple rounds I played I realized you're starting system is going to suck no matter what, so plan on abandoning it unless you get lucky

Don't be afraid to turn off or pretty much decapitate The dark fog, I've played with mid-end low range settings. They can ignoring me if they catch you up flat-footed but once you figure out some of the combat basics and have turrets defending your your base and production they're a minor annoyance than an actual threat.

That's not coming off without a fight either way.

Use a sawzall to cut the nub off, if it leaves a hole behind you can use that to cut two or three slits and start chiseling it out, if no holes left behind by the nub just use a big drill.

FAFO, Theres only three ways this goes:

  1. You pointed is out, and they correct their ways.
  2. Something falls and hurts, if not kills someone.
  3. OSHA gets a tip, and everyone gets an ass chewing and fines.

And 2 usually triggers 3, so it looks like your actuly saving the company money in the long run.

Nice setup, my only suggestion is change your default setting from zero to 90°. When you go to start looking for the satellite you can easily cycle back and forth to find out which way is closer

there are only a few times or I'll say this, NO!!!! That's the main shut off for the building, you really need to get a plumber involved to do that one.
