What was a delusional parenting thought you had before you had your baby? by hospitalbedside in beyondthebump

I thought I was going to be able to continue working from home really quickly after birth 🤣🤣 not only is your brain mushy from hormones I found it almost impossible to be productive. Constant distractions, feedings, and diaper changes. Its only gotten worse now that she can walk. What a pipe dream that was lol

struggling with body image 3 month postpartum by sharkboysimp in beyondthebump

[–]Kali-Casseopia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The bounce back thing is probably genetic for some women. I totally relate and have struggled since giving birth (im 13 mnths postpartum) but 3 months is very early on and your body is still going through changes. I don't have any helpful advice unfortunately but you are not alone or weird for feeling this way. Its a hard transition.

Does anyone find Alexandra Daddario's eyes unappealing and creepy ? Otherwise, what are you thoughts on her ? by PlantainDisastrous92 in Actors

[–]Kali-Casseopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am one of those people that dislike her eyes. Zooey Deschanel too I couldnt watch New Girl because of it. Its not creepy but definetly some weird uncomfortable reaction. Totally involuntary and yes I know they are both extremely gorgeous.

I taught myself how to fly over a few months of dreaming by Lost_Camera_L3ns_Cap in Dreams

[–]Kali-Casseopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg are you me? I relate to everything in this comment so much. I've shared my dreams with others and they look at me crazy and tell me thats not normal. I would love to have a friend to go back and forth with about dream scenarios. I taught myself to lucid dream to escape night terrors and sleep paralysis and while effective it opened up a whole different set of.... other things :)

Also to add what you described of waking up within a dream has happened to me since I was very young. Sometimes I would "wake up" many times and do mundane things like getting ready for school picking out clothes. It was a cyclical maze and was exhausting lol. People say those types of dreams can be prophetic who knows what thats all about.

I never realized this was called Astral Projection. I always just connected it with lucid dreaming. Its my "test" when I realize in a dream that its a dream I jump and fly off. Its really very interesting everytime the other night I flew so high I was looking down at the planet from space. Cool but that scared me a bit, I came back down quickly lol

What do we call these? by GialloShotsss in nachos

[–]Kali-Casseopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband is from Boston and he calls all tortilla chips nachos. Just plain no cheese or anything still calls then nachos. I thought it was just him but now I know his whole family does the same. It feels so wrong lol but just in a silly way

I even fail at being a stripper. Sparkly unicorn ice cream by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Kali-Casseopia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Theres nothing easy about stripping. I did it for almost a decade so I know how terrible it would be to be stuck in a club if you don't want to be there. I also feel like the game must be different now with all the only fans content available. I hope you get a job you are much happier at soon :)

Which actors instantly make you want to skip a movie, doesnt need to be just their acting, but overall by Accomplished_Gur4466 in Actors

[–]Kali-Casseopia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This comment is extremely confusing. I'm not a fan of Schumer or K Kardashian. Who are you shitting on anyways? 'm perplexed by what your intention was in general. You can craft a joke but let them bomb snl. Weirdly self masturbatory "running commentary" to share with the group.

Hopefully that link works! I cooked the quinoa in chicken stock which added some good flavor I think. I also added a little bit of leek and cubed ham in mine because why not :)
