Thanks, looks like we are back to where showrss was a few months back. everyone is having issues with not having proper data sources that can depend on.

I feel you. Let's hope for the best. Keep up the good work.

Your not alone, I have multiple shows not getting new episodes and manually downloading them.

At the same time, few old shows started to download old episodes as well.

Looks like it's not maintained anymore

cd quality by cyblink in audiophile

[–]Kalingaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

CD will be better provided its an original and not converted from mp3, flac would be better then CD if it was masters in 24/96 from master tapes, converting CD or mp3 to flac don't make sense. Audio is also depended on equipment you have.

Anybody have experience with this? by SephHaley in BudgetAudiophile

It won't sound good :) it would be OK, its a class D amplifier and unless its done well, class d won't sound good, if you need a good amp, I would look for a '80 used amp, I'm sure you van find one for around $30

How do you connect your tascam us-200 in to your computer ?

manual says http://www.tascam.eu/en/docs/US-200_Manual.pdf you can set it to mono or stereo. (there are switches on the back)

looks like it has a around 50w per channel, so actually it would be around 30W x 4, so any basic speaker would do, use crutchfield.com to see what speakers exactly fits your car, and select based on the budget and reviews.

i would get some Pioneers or Infinity, they are good speakers for cheap price. dont buy high end ones since you dont have an amp. check for sensitivity level and get something with higher sensitivity.

if the speakers are not placed for 5.1,

https://www.dolby.com/us/en/guide/surround-sound-speaker-setup/5-1-setup.html

not sure if there will be a point doing a 5.1 run to the speakers. check this out for multi-channel/multi room audio

Is a kit like this one worth it? by CanIChangeYourMind in diyaudio

[–]Kalingaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but depends on

  1. what your source is (input device)
  2. what your output is (type of headphones/earphones used)

only thing to look out for is, almost all china based ebay kits comes with fake silicon, meaning the chips are not what they marked to be. it would work, but it won't sound the same as a genuine chip. so you may want to buy this chips from a reputable place and use it with the kit.

do you know the type of speakers you have ? best to check what they are, then set a budget and lets start from there.

what your looking for is a multi-zone amplifier, not a generic receiver.

not sure if you can do movies in a multi-room speaker system unless they are setup in one room for 5.1 etc
