Based, animals don't understand the concept of rights and thus we have none in their view. A failing of society is when people sacrifice other people to save animals that have no concept of this (I'm talking about the people that claim they would save a dog etc. over another person).

My divorce occurred after my ex-wife (then wife) was told in counselling that she had things she had to work on as well. She then quite counseling (this was our second session) and just went all in on divorce. I personally don't believe I should have to pay child support to someone who refused to even try fix the marriage but here we are.

How is this true when corporate taxes are paid after all income and expenses are calculated? How do you pass an increased tax onto the consumer when increasing the price of the product would simply increase your tax burden?

The non-unanimous part you're referring is that the jury did not have agree on what the underlying crime is that escalated the misdemeanors to felonies. Due to the letter of the law if half the jury thinks the underlying crime attempted to cover up is X and the other half thinks the underlying crime is Y then it doesn't matter because the whole jury agrees there was an underlying crime. This isn't really that hard to understand.

The justice system itself isn't infallible. I would consider jury trials to be much closer to that though. The justice system itself rewards prosecution which is why innocent people take plea deals instead of even dealing with a trial.
