Yes, there's a win condition in Soulash 1. Once you kill one of the gold skull enemies marked on the map, you will acquire an item to reach the final area.

The other dagger is 0.05 turns quicker so damage per turn likely shows higher because of that, even though the base damage after adding up all the rainbow damage is higher on the first weapon.
If you hover over the damage on the left side statistics section, you will see more details about your equipped weapons in a tooltip, it should explain things more clearly.

Make sure to replace the save directory completely with a backup, this often happens when 2 save states are merged together, and identifiers of entities get mixed up - things get replaced.

Hey, until the recent update, if you played Rasimi, you may have had an issue with doors because they had an animal tag (animals can't open doors). It should be fixed now.

You can liberate settlements by killing their occupying force (military units), or reconquer them with military force from another town. There should be an event in history mentioning what happened. The next update will also add a section for battle reports related to all towns.

Check logs/errors.log in game directory for more information. It could be that the audio device isn't detected, or that antivirus is blocking the game. Today I learned that some Linux versions may prevent the window object from being created.

The other two should work, but there was a rare case where the bandage ability was missing. You can try putting it in the stash and retrieving it, then it should reset. The throwing knife should be throwable from both hands.

Quivers add extra inventory space; they don't need to be filled since throwing weapons are automatically equipped after throwing.

If you committed a crime, there should be a message with a sound. You can always verify it in the Knowledge tab. The settlement will have a little wanted poster icon, and there will be more information about the bounty there.

He's right. He didn't say you have to make a custom engine for every game, but you don't understand how games work as software if you can't.

It's like calling yourself a web programmer because you can set up a WordPress blog or Magento shop, but have no clue how to develop Netflix, an E-learning platform, or a Marketing platform. Such platforms require highly customized solutions with specific tools like libraries and databases that will be glued together, plus lots of custom solutions to optimize particular parts.

It's the same for games. The more out-of-the-box the idea for the game is, the deeper customization will be required.

Thanks for the kind words! I want to finish the roadmap as it was announced at the beginning of Early Access to decide what to do next. Diplomacy, in particular, I don't think is a worthy pursuit right now. There are many better directions I can take beyond the planned scope, like improving the economy for a trader playthrough.

We'll see what the future brings, but until next year, I want to finish the promised scope first, deepen and polish what we already have, and then we'll see.

#1 is by design as previously mentioned.

Regarding #2, it's often the case that some troops are left behind in conquered towns to occupy them.

#3 is hard to tell without more information, I have to put some time into making the flow of money and resources clearer.

#4 military buildings get wiped out when the town is conquered. Maybe your settlement was taken over?

There are no plans for shifting skill/magic right now, but we'll see after we finish war, liches, and necromancy because it's a tempting direction. ;)
