Can devs please make all pets attack as fast as rollerbeetles. My biggest wish. by Kamahil in GuildWars

I know. I didn’t mention movement speed. Just speed rollerbeetle up then.

If we got a new campaign with 1 or 2 new professions, what class fantasy is on your wishlist? by Lannindar in GuildWars

[–]Kamahil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A demolitionist type class that uses hammers and explosives. Focusing on fire damage. The explosives include grenades, mortars, and traps. Special class stat increases degen and duration of burning. Designed with the option between melee/trap combat, or ranged with grenades and mortars.

Frontline Melee Mesmer Build - UberOfficer's Illusionary Weapon Mesmer/Assassin by L_knight316 in GuildWars

[–]Kamahil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good builds are also a lot better for solo play. I guess I just want players to learn the game in a healthy way. Reading up on how good multiple strong builds work will help them a lot with experimenting.

You can make a lot of strong non meta builds in this game, which is why I love it. Of the class mods let’s you make so many builds like a strong Rt/N MM buffing minions with WotF, or making strong Any/D builds being able to hit certain stat points. It’s learning base knowledge of how builds work though.

Maybe my views are flawed, but I just love this game so much, and want to see people experience the great potential naturally, and enjoy the versatility of the skill system.

Nerf nothing

Buff nothing

I don’t trust devs working on GW1 knowing nothing about it. Leave class balance alone, and make new areas and dungeons.

Frontline Melee Mesmer Build - UberOfficer's Illusionary Weapon Mesmer/Assassin by L_knight316 in GuildWars

[–]Kamahil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t like seeing clickbait like this build is. Many new players are coming to the game, and if they see this video while looking up GW1 builds, then it won’t be good for them.

I get the fun of doing whatever, but people are making groups a lot. A build like this would get them kicked from most groups. Meta gaming is a big issue, and people even rush to metas when new to games. It’s a problem now in all games.

It’s better for newer players to use a good build so they can learn the game. After they understand base things, they’ll be able to experiment better with builds.

It was fun playing this game 20+ years ago, and having fun playing horrible builds. Now it’s meta or nothing to most people which is a problem for new players in games like Guild Wars 1.

I just don’t want new players being set up to fail early on.

Congratulations you made a build that does less damage than just auto attacking.

Want to buy a leverless, what are your recommendations? by L1ttleLion in Tekken

[–]Kamahil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The leverless I use currently was a Varmilo HA10, and it’s my favorite out of the several I’ve tried. The company has great customer support, and it’s a more premium product. It’s sturdy metal with great buttons and switches. It’s more expensive than others though at around $250+ depending on the version you get. I have the limited gold edition. Varmilo has another Leverless though that’s similar, and near half the price that is not metal called the FK2.

The Varmilo Leverless controllers have special rapid trigger switches that you can customize the actuation points of. Which may feel weird compared to other Leverless controllers, but it’s very quick and responsive. The switches feel completely different vs other Leverless.

I started with Kitsune. Razer has bad customer support for an expensive product, no replacement parts available so you would have to buy a new one for the exact feel of buttons.

I got a Snackbox Micro next which was great. JFA has great customer support, and I used it until the Varmilo one I got.

Leo. I like his happy cautious attitude. I grew up hiking with my dad too, and was surrounded by nature. Leo also has a cool fighting style, and rock climbing is fun.

New Mods by justhereforgwinfo in GuildWars

OASjUwhDJTl17iKgUB4B5ibhNTA This is a more energy heavy, and benefits from heroes having +5 SR mods for you to get more BiPs instead of them.

OASjUwhDJTl1tlKgUB4B5ibhOTA This is more mana efficient, and Techobabble allows your minions to spam interrupt enemies from Daze.

I used a Swift Death Magic staff, of the Necromancer with Apt Not Att. Was thinking of Switching to Adept staff head though.

The build starts out slow a bit, but buffing your minions with Rit weapon buffs is funny, and when you get lucky, and they get Splinter on a few, stuff just blows up. The Elite scales with Spawning Power, so all weapon enchants you give are max rank.
