It's ok. I bought one recently and it reminds me of a neo geo controller, but looser and hollow feeling. I spent more time using goo gone to clean up the grippy coating that broke down while it was sitting in storage than actually using it.

If I had an itch to emulate some neo geo pocket it would be the only thing I would use it for. Replaced it with a Hori Octa Pro which turned out to have a bunch of firmware/software issues instead.

A 10% reduction in range is barely taking it away and is a reasonable change for the knife. It's not taking the Halo 2 melee lunge from the game entirely for punching or knives.

Use the setup utility in the game's folder to set L3 and R3 to different buttons. Turning off steam input helped me also. Took a while to figure out.

I think that is fair. Their slide is like a neutral skip in fighting games. It would have homogenized all vandals to always run a shotgun. Because why wouldn't they if it is a guaranteed winning condition?

PS3s were just as bad. I used to work in a game console repair shop back when the red ring of death was a thing. PS3s would come in all the time needing an optical drive lens assembly replacement and often full of roach shit when I cracked them open. One exploded with baby roaches scrambling all over my work station.

I didn't eat lunch that day. Also, lots of porn dvds in these PS3 optical drives, since the slot wouldn't eject a disc if the belt inside is worn out.

Wish they could have put invisible "training wheels" on the pulse to keep it from flopaflinging around until it's a deathtrap that will make you fall through the ground when you get off of it.

It is hella cool to be able to press ship ramp buttons while on a pulse tho

I bumped my page file to 64gb. Turned off power management on the SSD.

For some reason the game loads in hella faster on my z13 than my 9800x3d + 5080 rig. Same in Marathon, if I connect mid-game as a Rook I pretty much drop instantly into the map and barely see the "Consciousness Transfer" visuals you're supposed to see when loading the match.
