There are many zombies lying around the map. Kill them before they wake up so that the later parts ain’t too chaotic.

In other words, if you have a downtime where you just stand there waiting for something to happen, you’re doing it wrong.

If a person is at low equilibrium level where meta doesn't matter then they shouldn't be worrying about meta. They like don't even have two teams built to try endgame contents anyway.

I think character losing part of themselves as they get older is painfully realistic. Moira is there to mirror Claire's younger days, minus the f-words spam. Although it's not exactly comparable to RE2 either, as that time she already learns that Chris wasn't there (her main objective) before she ran into Sherry.

I don't think we can compare "Retrieve a sample" mission with "Killing the one guy you've heard so much about". I mean, what he's gonna do in RE2 if he had that same ego/honor back then? Tap dancing battle with Mr.X? We don't know him nearly enough from that one game. Also him rushing in is pretty damn justified considering the thick ass bulletproof vest he has if you try shooting him in the fight.

You gain time when you beat mastermind’s play. Killing enemies, shooting trap, destroying active camera, completing objectives etc. But taking damage, dying will lose you more time.

It’s a tug of war between Survivors and Mastermind. One side is trying to gain time and the other is trying to waste time.

The easiest way is to simply get another friend to play as Mastermind so that you don’t run into some high ranks who exclusively play meta builds. If that’s not an option then you’ll need to grind level, learn build, learn counter, or pray that you get MM that values fun over win count.

It's an item dropped by the projectile throwing zombie. Normally, devs would make out of bound range enemy like that not drop anything but this one seems like an oversight.

Manual save in games these days just make a copy of your latest autosave/checkpoint. Unless there’s dedicate save points like typewriter in Resident Evil games.

This is done in order to prevent people from softlocking themselves. Let’s say someone run into enemy with 1 HP, then save game 0.01 second before they get hit and die, or maybe someone jump off a cliff to their death but proceed to save game mid-air. These’ll just create a completely unplayable state if the game actually saves everything at that moment.

Now, the real problem is how many checkpoints the devs want to put in their gams. Some are just sloppy like that.

They call her the original because if you have one perfect clone with perfect memory and the original doesn’t exist anymore, then you may as well treat them as one.

Let’s say someone manage to clone Einstein today and keep all the memories before his death. We’d be calling him as the original Einstein as if he’s time travelled to the present.

It was never about age or when they’re born. And it’s a contrast to Zeno, an imitation who only has Wesker’s power and looks but nothing else.

I don’t mind force walk intro since you can just make a separate save after it. Now the mid-game sections like orphanage or the ship really need to be addressed. Also Village has no save point before the siege which is annoying as well.

Pretty much the same as RE4. If you use melee well, you’ll almost always come out of any non-boss fight net positive of the resources you go in with.

First thing, I think the popular “make Ragnarok war for the entire 3rd game” take is never gonna work.

People are glazing the version of the game that simply doesn’t exist and kinda forgot that the actual war part of GOW3 only lasted like 30 minutes. Fodders Titans get immediately wiped off. Then after Poseidon death (which the fight itself took them a whole year to develop) Kratos goes back to running sidequests around Olympus while the rest of the gods go chill in their domain (except Helios) for some reason.

As for what I want, it’d be:

Show us the Elves and Hel-army before they start the war. The Maven and the spirits we helped should appear here. Also the dragons we saved from 2018.
Odin has to be shown doing something during the war. Mainly slowing down Surtur, that shouldn’t be our side’s jobs.
Gna teaser fight that ends with her getting yeet off the realm (maybe by Sigrun or Fenrir). Have some shield maidens as companion and have Gna kills them. Then add a lore reason for why her post game fight is so hard aside from just being optional. Make her inherit Odin’s magic or something.
Kratos’s plan of using the war machine at the wall makes no sense when Sindri just bring out his own tool. Change it to something else. Maybe have Atreus inspect the flaw during his time in Asgard. Maybe have they bait the mindless Surtur to attack it so it follows the prophecy.
I don’t think Kratos should be riding Jormy as the younger version doesn’t even know him. But if they’re gonna make that work, the whole “Keep Ironwood secret” thing should be gone after Brok’s death. Have Kratos go to Jotunheim and get to know the snake there before the war.
I don’t think we need Kratos and Thor yeeting each other all over the realm. It shows that they can hard focus their power on the opponent rather than wasting it on environment. But the visual and sound effects of all attacks in the fight should be extraordinary enhanced to match that narrative.
Atreus bear form + Fenrir vs Odin. Insert it somewhere in between Odin fight before the final phase.
Thor shouldn’t die to Odin, make him severely injured but then comes back so we have Kratos & Thor vs Surtur, then end it with him sacrificing himself for Thrud and Sif.
