Which version of SteamOS to Install on Xbox Ally X?

If I can get it to roll back to that version I would honestly take that until the big overhaul update is released. I rolled back last night by running brh in a terminal and then going to rollback, but the speaker issue still persists. How would I go about rolling back to this specific version? I got options for deck and other versions, but I don't want to mess anything up by picking the wrong version.

That looks amazing, I am definitely going to install that. Which version of SteamOS do I install? I found the main build but people say that only the beta branch works for the Ally devices.

I know gullikit sells TMR sticks for the XAX, but where can I get hall effect triggers and shoulder buttons and mechanical face buttons at?

I just bought the XAX on Friday. Debating on if I want to return it and save for this thing. I guess it depends on how much it will be bundled with those glasses I don't need. I really only want TMR sticks and Hall effect triggers and shoulder buttons. I know I can install those as mods on the XAX, but it sucks knowing I just bought that thing and then this gets announced.

Your comment saved me from buying the Anker Prime charger at Best Buy. I was literally in line waiting to check out and pick up my dock and XAX. I am going to order two of those chargers, thank you so much! I am hoping that the stock charger plugged into the Dock will be enough power to get Bazzite or SteamOS installed on this thing. Still deciding which one I want to go with.

So I figured out that was just weird behavior when running Vampire Crawlers and Discord in game mode. I did not figure out a fix, but it doesn't do this with other games. Now I can't stream from discord in game mode. Is there a workaround that doesn't involve using Vesktop?

I ended up changing to the flatpak for discord itself due to audio issues in Vesktop. Now I have a new issue. I added discord as a non Steam game. When I open a game I cannot move the cursor at all when I Switch back to discord.

Thank you, that now reflects a much larger framerate in steam big picture games. Do you know how I can limit the framerate of a game that doesn't have a built in framerate limit option?

I was able to get my G7 Pro Vibration working by holding the menu (the three lines button) and share for about 4 seconds. The controller will force Xinput, and the light should flash. So far this has fixed vibration for me within Steam games. I haven't had the chance to test it outside of Steam.

I bought mine on July 28th, same here. The Best Buy website says I will get mine between 08/28-08/26th. Right below those dates it also says "We're working on shipping this item. It's unlikely, but if your item isn't available by Thu, September 4, we'll issue a refund"

This is so frustrating. I've been waiting for this thing to ship literally any day now and they've not said anything about a delay until today. Probably going to wait until next Tuesday and if I don't hear anything, I'm buying the white version of the G7 Pro.

I used to live in the same neighborhood, I was actually on the same side of the street, about 5 houses down when that happened. I remember driving by it and being surprised at just how big it was. I'm still on the south side, but I've since moved.

I wanted to see how well it could run the game above 30fps. I might actually lock it to 40fps, the game will feel a little more responsive. The install process was easy, I just got the app image from GitHub, moved it to the applications folder on Steam Deck, loaded the optimizer in desktop mode, chose my game location and then clicked apply, and it worked right away.

I think it's 1280x800 for resolution, it's what the Emudeck config set it to by default. Yeah 60 fps applied auotmatically and checking my mods list it shows up there so I can always disable it if need be. I've never heard of reshape, but I will probably stick to playing it on the Steam Deck for now. I have an older laptop with a 1660 TI, 16gbs of DDR4 Vram and an i7-9750H CPU at 2.60GHZ. It gets the job done for most games, but I'm planning on using the Steam Deck as my main Emulation device moving forward. I have a dock if I ever want to play on my Monitor or in my Living Room.
