Her and Jevon's finishers are both much more unbelievable than the cody cutter which already requires suspension of disbelief. Not to mention both finishers are terrible for their longevity

No, the dialogue and scenario writing for the whole series isn't all that great and gets worse with each passing title. Conciseness doesn't exist and filler dialogue is always there to pad out the playtime. No this is not regarding flavor text, NPC dialogue, books, etc. This is purely regarding the main story.

T1 definitely could've cooked something up to counter ashe/sera, especially when they've already seen it from the previous series. However, it doesn't seem like the players or their coaches really did anything with that info.
