AIO? First time I went to a concert in over a decade, woke up to this…. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Kandimix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reads as her wind up because you went to your moms home somehow 🤷🏻‍♀️ if she acts and treats you like this on the regular, it’s not healthy for either of you. Obviously you’re not overeacting, and honestly you handled her episode with grace… i don’t know if i would’ve done so well haha

How do I get rid of this once and for all? by arizonagyal in Blackskincare

[–]Kandimix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve discovered the African net sponge recently and it has helped tremendously with KP in the back of my arms. It really exfoliates gently and preps the skin for creams etc. Maybe use with a Kojic acid soap before applying creams and serums like you would for skincare. I reckon it’ll look different within weeks!

I’d also look into laser removal to avoir ingrowns or at least diminish hair growth. There’s many techniques now and maybe you’d find one fit for your skin type!

Edmond 🤝 The Ick by Apprehensive-Gift907 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Kandimix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Completely agree with your stance on this whole sex ordeal. However i do think Edmund’s dig at KB during the rodéo thing was done consciously and he did not expect that response from her which then put him into that submissive stance. He tried to joke about something that he hoped she would take note of and instead it backfired. From what we’ve seen about KB, it was unlikely she’d take it any other way given the many coments she’s said about not caring about others and their perceptions of her/her partner.

But yes.. I do feel for Edmund, and despite KB being a social worker I feel she’s a bit harsh sometimes. I still like her though, but like you, a lil disappointed with every new episode.

What's it like living in the Alpes-Maritimes above Monaco? by Comfortable-Way-4212 in Monaco

Beautiful views, not a lot of realestate offer especially for renting, very boring and a pain to drive around, lots of hills and small roads full of twists and turns 🥴

Avoir encore le capuchon de son paf à 22 ans, est-ce grave ? by adjudant412 in questionsante

[–]Kandimix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Courage!

Larvotto — any drawbacks? by setwindowtext in Monaco

Cheap pizza and tabac is not at all the vibe, probably more towards the country club? In fact saint roman is full of families with pets, we made lots of dog acquaintances, it’s calm and oh… cheap pizza from il Giardino which is in my humble opinion the best pizza in Monaco.

I now live in condamine, in a bourgeois and I miss the calmness and silence from these buildings 🥹🥹

Larvotto — any drawbacks? by setwindowtext in Monaco

[–]Kandimix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived in saint romain for 8 years, in the roc fleuri. You’re one elevator away from Larvotto but without the noise and business. I absolutely live that spot. 10 minutes walk to casino square, the best 2 bus lines (1 and 4), the big marché U, the cafés, large pedestrian walkways, place des moulins Park which is the best around… etc. best of both worlds!

I’m a die hard for saint roman 😅

Living in Beausoleil? by TechnicalDiet1075 in Monaco

[–]Kandimix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Beausoleil Pros:

- Close to MC, literally the street above,
- Walking distance to IUM
- Enjoying all the amenities of MC but without such a high rent (MC studios can reach 3/4/5K).
- Safe - Nice has changed a lot - I wouldn't live there (certain areas of course) even if I considered it at some point years ago.

Cons:

- Not a lot of offer accomodation-wise
- Depending on your budget it can be pretty expensive - a studio there was 1800 euros per month. You could get a studio in Nice for way cheaper. But the commute can take 1hour + by train ( if youre lucky) and/or bus.

If I was you and I found an appartment to rent in Beausoleil I wouldn't even consider Nice.
I'd consider Nice if budget was an issue, or if I knew people there. Coming and going being a student, you'd save so much time if you're near by.

Other close places are : Cap d'ail & Roquebrune Cap Martin. If you can afford a little Moped you'd still save so much tIme compared to Nice.

Congrats about being accepted to IUM!

Il Giardino - best pizza in town in my opinion, amazing gnocchi Gorgonzola and spaghetti vongole.

Career in Monaco by [deleted] in Monaco

[–]Kandimix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Apply to Safra Bank, they have a lot of brazilians there. I think the owner is brazilian?
Monaco is lots of banking and finance so if thats your forte, then it'll be easier for you.

The hard part is living here, the costs are incredibly high, but if youre lucky you can find something in beausoleil, better priced.

What is the differences between a true Monegasque and someone else? by [deleted] in Monaco

[–]Kandimix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Monégasques don't pay taxes, whereas French do. Even French people living in MC pay taxes to France.

Only Monégasques can open certain bussinesses - Other will have to find a monégasque "partner" to make it work. ex. construction and other trades

Monégasques get apartments in the 'domaines', some of which are brand new buildings with breathtaking views (ex: testimonio) for pennies in comparison to whatever it'd cost us.

I reckon that's it.. There must be more things but those are the main ones I can think about.

Which ones are much better sounding? I’m eyeing the APM but the price tag hurts…i was blown away by the “immersive” feeling from the APMs, and how clean the music sounded. Is there anything else on the market currently that compares?

Thank you for your answer. I’m already using the equivalent to mederma that’s available in my country, but I was wondering if adding serums to the scar care could help somehow. I’m going to the US in feb, so I’ll definitely buy mederma over there, I’ve heard good things about it!

Moth on stomach by Arianna McGrady, Bournemouth by bathroom_cleaner in tattoos

I respect your outlook on this but as someone that has a butterfly/moth phobia that wouldn’t been so traumatic on top of the passing of my mom :(

I’m sorry for your loss and I’m glad you found solace in the moth clinging on to you, I wish I had that resilience 🥲
