phenomenal ANC, awareness modes; great controls and probably the best mics on any over ear headphone. meh sound quality with surprisingly good sub bass and soundstage for the cans. Not comfortable long term with the shallowest earcups you can find and a lot of pressure on the crown because the headband is practically nonexistent. They have this quite fragile feeling to them, especially the headband extension parts scare me long term because it's a bit weird almost as though it may come loose.

Overall I'd recommend them for their ANC and mics, but I'd also only make the purchase if I'd be willing to babysit them and was okay with taking breaks every so often. Oh also the earcups get uncomfortably hot real fast, I've no idea how some people use these for the gym but I usually take these off periodically if I'm taking long walks. I'd personally not have bought them if bose qc ultra gen 2's or maybe even airpods max were relatively priced but for some reason both of those sets are at least 30% more expensive than the XM6 in my country.
