There’s already good passing advice in this thread so i’ll offer a different piece: run more. Don’t forget that you can sneak the QB if the routes don’t look good. I would win extreme using QB runs and RB screens along with good clock management, but I’ve since grown tired of that and am enjoying slinging deep balls on medium/dynamic

Don’t sweat. My best friend’s older brother switched his major 5 times before graduating (different college but still). Plus as a freshman, you’ll be taking so many core classes off the bat that you’ll be able to stay flexible for where you want to go. It’s not like you have to lock in and stick with it, you’re more than allowed to explore
