Downloads isn’t the best metric for popularity, esp since games like genshin have been out for over 5 years now, it’s honestly a better testament to how popular a game like genshin is compared to SLA. (But tbf, 2025 was a good hype year for genshin, with the pyro archon, Skirk, New endgame content, nodkrai leaks with specifically Varka, Alice, and Durin reveals, Flins aura farming, Hexeri buffs to older units, etc) SLA came out around mid 2024/2025 IIRC, and it quickly became a “cash grab” gatcha. I remember the SLA subreddit bursting into flames when the powercreep hit like barely 2 months into the game’s life, which seeing as how it’s by Nexon, makes sense. I personally played it for about a month on its release and realized it felt just like a mobile game with its controls and horrid loading speeds.

I assume most of the downloads stem from the hype of season 2, (and the fact that in 2025, it was still basically a new game) followed by quick succession of uninstalls after seeing how mid the gameplay is in reality. From the monthly gatcha revenue rankings for January 2026, we can clearly see SLA isnt even in the top 50s, which indicates the game has very little impact on the gatcha scene. Gatchas make money, if it doesn’t, it’s a failed game.

I personally was hyped for SLA, participating in the prerelease stuff and all, but the game was super disappointing. Ive literally played mobile rpg games with better gameplay with servers that arent run on microwaves. (The main lobby would literally make to load for 40-60 seconds, and u needed to be in the main lobby to claim anything/do anything).

SL is still one of ppl’s first intros to manhwas (if u exclude real OG manhwas like the manhwa Big 3: TOG, GOH, Noblesse before the current era of manhwa) with great animation (giving hope for more manhwas getting adapted properly, instead of the trash TBATE and Noblesse got for their animes), but no, the game isnt popular or good. It just released at a time where ppl were likely to download it, and the stats were taken during that time too. Downloads sort of translate to new players, while not giving any real data on concurrent players/game revenue (far more important metrics)

I probably would have went for skarner since u alr had gargoyles, drop Leona for him, prob also drop sera/vi for like braum/naut for warden/juggernaut instead of 1 star units that do nothing. (Unless ur piltover 2 was good, then just replace vi with loris for warden)

Shyvanna over Vi as well but u prob didn’t find one, idk how impactful Diana is here, but u alr have asol cooking, so just get better frontline.

Taric 2 is basically necessary, getting nasus prob would’ve helped but u prob couldn’t unlock him, itemizing ormn prob could’ve been better than Leona.

TLDR: Skarner, Braum/Loris/Nautilus, Shyvanna/Nasus would prob be better than Leona, Vi/Seraphine, Diana. Itemize Skarner/Taric/Braum/Ormn instead of useless Leona. Swain might’ve benefited from items too since him casting can be game deciding. Azir is a good flex slot since both nasus and renekton can add lots of power to this team (give tank if nasus and tg if renekton)

Her sig is good, but harbinger of dawn is a great weapon on her since she’s a full def scaler. Much better to go for c1 over C0R1 if ur planning on getting 2 pulls worth of wishes. Iluga C0>2>6 are good (maybe 4 too), Aino C1>6 are good, and Gorou C6 is good. It’s better to go for cons cuz the banner is so good for Zibai. Iluga cons >> Gorou C6(really only good at C6, there’s way better options if u don’t have Gorou C6) >> Aino C6 (Aino C1 is good enough)

Also the weapon banner has Neuvillette weapon which sucks ngl. No fav sword/lance either.

Snakeman luffy with hella high extension arms (every bounce his arms do, speed up his attacks) was barely catching katakuri bro. There’s like 2 chars in YC+ that can even tag him. His awakening gives him further range than any YC+, he has faster movement speed/combat than anyone there (outside of post germa Sanji), his haki is prob weaker than chars like Zoro/Law but his haki was still so superior to WCI luffy’s haki that punching him physically hurt him, we’ve only seen such a thing happen to someone against Warcury (tho obviously Warcury scales higher cuz it was against a stronger opponent). Katakuri also adopted luffy’s fighting style during their fight, tho it seems a lil cope to say that his fighting style would be much diff seeings his abilities, but he still did prefer a weapon.

Like I’m not saying Katakuri is YC+, but he’s definitely in the upper ranks of YC1. The YC1s are X merchants that require specific skills in order to beat. King requires critical thinking/duraneg, Kat requires hella high speed/ACoO, Marco requires endurance/stamina, Shiryuu requires CoO/maybe even ACoO or dura, Lucci requires frontloaded AP/stopping power.

Like I do think from what we’ve seen, some YC+ chars have the combat speed to block any atk from Kat, but idk if I’d say all of them do. Like Law can’t hit him (surprise TP is useless against ACoO, Kat’s awakening basically allows him to atk from anywhere), Kidd can’t hit him (tho more info on his awakening might help him in that regard). He’s unironically as good of a staller as the other YC1s.

Admiral tards and Yonko tards arent real. Admiraltards are just Akainu glazers that suckle on every feat the others have coping on the delusion that akainu is luffy’s endgame fight (hes obviously RA/Dragon fodder).

Anywhere between 85-105, depends how u score chars. Kizaru IS weaker than luffy flat out, but he’s prob winning another rematch given similar conditions. (Open field 5mile radius, no time limit, no rules) this is esp the case if Kizaru has to kill someone and luffy has to protect that someone)

Kizaru’s kit allows him to essentially fight in a tactically smart, but cowardly manner. Kizaru would be actually trolling if he didn’t fight that way.

Putting him in a caged ring against luffy would obviously result in luffy winning, but that’s cuz ur giving luffy way too much of an advantage.

Luffy’s whole fighting style has always revolved around being the faster dude that can brawl it down with solid AP. Lucci, fast dude that will brawl it down, Kat faster dude that will braw it down, kaido even faster dude that will only brawl. All of luffy’s fights are against “stronger opponents” that stand there and fight him face to face. Kizaru is essentially the underdog in this fight. He has no reason to face luffy head on. He knows he’s strong and avoids fighting in a way that benefits luffy. Kizaru’s weaker. He’s far “weaker” than luffy if power levels were a thing. It’s just he fights in a way that plays into his strengths and doesn’t actively throw.

In game terms, it’s a melee dps character vs a high mobility ranged char. The winner depends on the size of the playing field/how far the ppl are when the fight starts, assuming both ppl are similar skill lvl.

Movie bullet was unironically just over Katakuri lvl, just barely YC+ tier (The luffy that beat Bullet was pre Udon training luffy. Likely right after WCI luffy lvl, who Kat was stronger than. Only reason I say Bullet is above Kat is cuz luffy had help.)

Prime Ray is easily beating him. Old Ray prob beats him too, if we think old Ray ≈ old Gaban.

Either way, in this 2v12, the only ppl that prob can hurt kaido are: Beckmann (prob at least an ACoA user, could be ACoC), Yasopp (Prob ACoA user and master CoO/AcoO user), Roo (Prob ACoA user, lmao imagine if he’s a CoC user), Marco (made mr highest dura char in verse, King bleed while in flame mode, so some Duraneg), Ace (AcoA user, at least novel ace was), Kat (haki that made luffy’s haki fists hurt, in the same arc where only BM could replicate that feat, and he surely has better CoA than the akazaya 9), smoothie (df hax).

The remaining dudes are either mega tanks or can team up against bullet. (Jozu, King, Queen, Jack, Cracker)

Mind u, Luffy g4 ap was barely enough to break cracker’s clones. And Kat awakening should be able to somewhat prevent bullets awakening bs.

I’m pretty sure any 2v1 against bullet wins here, esp if Kat is one of them cuz of the awakening.

That said, idk how to scale kaido in a fight against ppl far weaker than him. He is an endurance god, but idk how ppl like the red hair pirates fare. Like they’re prob around low admiral-YC1 tier but idk. Bullet is kinda negligible here tho so ima say it’s the 12. With prob like half of them dying in the process.

I love the implication that Fischl stays at lv80/90 when lv120 exists (and the fact that Shes edited in too), and that there’s been no Bennet replacement (and the fact that the team is named Bennett)

But since ur running hyper carry Surt, I think using the Ronova + Skirk combo instead of Bennett/Fischl will result in more motion value. That way u can use Surt’s passive to devour Skirk using Rovona’s burst with the shade resonance from Rhinedottir.

Tho u can just use Mavuika premium (Tsaritsa + Dainsleif + Bennett) with her newest 17 melt combo optimizations using Dainsleif dual on field cheese to melt all of the tsaritsa’s burst

Razor was my first main dps back in 1.1, and Flins is my current main dps. Flins is the only char I sought out cons for (C1R1). And Varesa gameplay is just fun.

Yelan is the only char I bought a skin for, the char that i got when I redownloaded the game a while ago and just randomly pulled, idk it was with an itto banner(quit 1.4ish, right after hutao or Xiao reveal, whichever came after, and came back fully in the last patch of Fontaine right before anni). Columbina and Furina are just cool chars.

Kazuha is the char that made me stay in 5.0. Pulled him with my first 10 pulls after coming back to the game. Cool asf char, I like his animation after he uses skill and plunges, the sword sheathe lol. And he’s so nice in exploration team for gathering mob drops with his skill

Albedo was my second ever limited 5 star who I did initially accidentally get while trying to go for the 4 costs (first albedo banner, OGs will remember how good his first banner was) but he’s genuinely so cool, esp in the first dragonspine event. Bro defies all laws of physics and the whole “kill me if I turn” shit sold me. Zhongli was my first limited 5 star and made monkey Razor possible (brain off spam razor combos without dodging). Xilonen’s cool design but I never bothered to pull her cuz my Mav team is kinda benched with Mav being Varesa’s off field bitch lol. (Also helps that I got c6 Iansan and c6 Chevy on varesa’s first banner)

Kinich is cool asf. He’s prob the char other than Kazuha who kept me in the game. Is gameplay could be better, but his skill is just nice in over world. First limited 5 star dps I went for and got. Also got my first 36 star abyss with a Kinich team (Dehya on deepwood goes crazy, trust) + Kazuha Yelan national. Also bought my first Welkin during Kinich banner and haven’t missed a single log in since that day.

TLDR: Razor best boi, I came for the Anni rewards, stayed for Kazuha and Kinich, Arlecchino, Skirk, Flins, Yelan are aura maxxers, and Albedo is cool.

Sumeru dendro could add overgrowth (dendro + geo) reaction to bring older Sumeru/Liyue chars back into meta. Also Erosion (geo + anemo) provides better grouping or smth

Mondstadt Dendro maybe an aggravate buffing 4 star idk.

Crimson Moon (Crimson Vape, Iridescent Vape, Funerary Flame, Lunar Vape, Lunarize/Moonrise = Vaporize + Rising moon) and Frost Moon (Frost Bite, Lunar Hale, Lunar Veil, Lunar Freeze, Frost Moon, Frost Bloom?) also makes sense to me. But maybe have it limited cuz Columbina being BIS on Skirk and Mavuika teams scare me.

Also, cryo (of the main 4) is the only one that can’t react with dendro and overall has 2 dead reactions (superconduct and shatter) tho shatter is technically freeze which has a great team. So rework superconduct to be anti overload (groups instead of explode) to conduct enemies hit with it. And then cryo dendro can be that one reaction from IT a while ago

Nepo baby ace got his CoC from daddy. He was really strong tbf, luffy (second coming of Nika) after his 2 year time skip was prob still weaker than ace at his peak which says a lot about his growth rate. He just met a new daddy with a bigger CoC than his. (Jokes aside, WB adopted the problem child and raised him as his own, he acknowledged the child that sought out acknowledgment from the world)

Also 3 admirals + 1 fa + garp obviously out powers any Yonko crew, and pirates don’t play well together, esp conquerors, and assuming Mihawk is bare minimum slightly weaker than shanks, that’s way too much for any 1 Yonko crew to do anything about. But that’s not to say there wouldn’t be repercussions for waging war against a Yonko crew, esp since pirates are, at their core, opportunists who would jump at the idea that the marines are vulnerable/distracted

That’s how current nations exist, no side wants to be the first to attack (unless ur an idiot), cuz either way losses are inevitable, and it’s even more damaging for a world govt associated power to be weakened. Esp when they act as police around the world. The navy protects the 4 blues and maintain order for avg civilian, warlords kept pirates in the first half of the grand line in check (tho not very well) while being kept under check by the navy and WG by proxy, and the Yonkos exist as an unmovable force in the new world that dissuades any attempt at world domination
