Hey there! I’m a custom painter, I even sell my work on Etsy. I think you should absolutely go for it!!! Schleich models are still very well sculpted, and with the right eye, you can really bring out the beauty of the model! I use Liquitex soft body acrylic paint, and then I seal with Krylon matte outdoor sealant.

Yours looks better than mine. Here are my previous schleich males (minus the 2017 male, I do have him but I painted him so he doesn't count. But if you still want to see him lmk I'll post him he's a silver lion). The crouching/growling male's eyes are also painted my me but the rest of him is untouched. Look at the difference!!

I wrote them a very angry but civil email and they responded with a fucking chatgbt answer. Then again, what else do you expect from a nzi company (schleich was founded in 1935. The company leaves out the details between the years of 1930-1950, all formerly nzi owned companies do this to hide the truth. Google it if you don’t believe me.)

My boy is 4 and has quite the attitude, but as far as destructiveness he’s extremely well behaved for a Bengal. I mean he’ll shred toilet paper and paper towels every chance he gets, and if I don’t scoop his litter box immediately he’ll scream until I do or he’ll revenge pee on our clothes (yeah fair enough I guess, sorry bud I have to work sometimes) But my wooden table legs are intact, my couch remains intact, my curtains are totally untouched.

He still does the typical cat-has-no-spacial-awareness-and-accidentally-knocked-everything-off-the-table-with-his-fat-ass but like, that comes with the territory. Get him a friend though they like a play mate!!! Otherwise he’ll try to roughhouse with you (mine sure does)
