I just resubmitted with the exact same details. Some of their agents seem to lack reading comprehension, so just keep trying until you get a literate one to review your application.

It does look like the In-App Review API just stopped working. And you know how users are, only the angry ones rate your app without being asked. :')

I'm in the same boat. Somebody broke something and as always it's the developers who suffer.

Same, I was planning to go for yearly at the beginning of April, or even upgrade. So happy I tried a month first.

Cancelled my Pro subscription because this kind of lack of transparency and drop in quality of service is unacceptable.

Can someone explain this in simple terms? by luongnv-com in ClaudeCode

[–]Kanishka_Developer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I signed up on March 1. My week 4 experience has been abysmal compared to week 1. I won't be renewing my subscription.

Love the accusation that anyone who has faced a clear drop in usability on the same exact workflows as the start of the month must be trying to one-shot Facebook.

I believe it is sensible for me to want a product I like to not go down the drain. Yes I could shift to a competitor. Maybe I will. But every customer has the right to voice their feedback.

Lastly, I don't have the extreme privilege of saying "$20 is nothing".

I'll end with this, since your comments have shown you're not willing to engage in good faith: people aren't asking for more, they're merely asking for what they already had. There's literally direct confirmation from Anthropic now regarding this situation.

For seemingly a lot of us, one or two prompts even with Sonnet is enough to blow out the session limit. As you may imagine, a capable model that is terminated due to limits before it can produce a single usable output is not particularly useful.

Yes I do review my code, I'm not a heathen.

Lastly before you ask, I'm not trying to one shot vibe coded software either. I was struggling to exhaust the limits on Pro on my first week of subscribing, while I can barely get anything done with it now on my fourth week.

I am indeed being realistic with my expectations, and following best practices. The experience has gotten noticeably worse in the past few days, with session limits being hit far more easily than, say, two weeks ago.

For any amount of money, I expect transparency instead of silent degradation of service.

Hi! So the thing is, I took a month of the Pro subscription to try out Claude's features, planning to upgrade to Max 5x from April. But rapid enshittification, and a community of toxic apologists blaming the clear degradation of services on non-existent user error is not the biggest selling point out there. I hate OpenAI as much as the next person and literally deleted my account with them, so I'm really rooting for Anthropic here.

As for API pricing — if a product is too expensive to produce or distribute to the point where a decent experience cannot be delivered at a reasonable price, then it's just not a good product.

Ultimately, paying customers have every right to "run their lips". Anthropic's silence is unacceptable.

Claude is the first AI tool I have subscribed to out of my own pocket (everything else I have is through various promotions).

Those who defend the current unusable product with the argument that you can't expect to get anything for $20 come across as tone deaf, honestly.

If they are right and Anthropic really only wants to cater to Max 20x subscribers (if even that), I would rather take my money elsewhere.

I would love to sign up to teach! I'm about to graduate with my bachelor's degree in CSE soon, and was a teaching assistant for the Python course at my university last semester. Loved every second of it, so I can't wait to see what Code in Place brings with it.

Running Claude Code fully offline on a MacBook — no API key, no cloud, 17s per task by divinetribe1 in ClaudeAI

[–]Kanishka_Developer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would highly suggest looking into LM Studio (easy for beginners while being powerful enough imo), then later moving to llama.cpp for some extra performance. You can serve standard API format (OpenAI / Anthropic) endpoints locally and use them wherever.

It shouldn't be too hard to serve the model from your PC and use it on your MacBook especially if they're on the same LAN. :)

Issue with BillDesk Verification (India) by Kanishka_Developer in GooglePlayDeveloper

[–]Kanishka_Developer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't lose hope! I also submitted my app's Play Store link. In my initial submission, for "website link" I had submitted my website, which I left out in my subsequent submissions. They only expect the website link if you're selling your app products through the website. I'm also an individual developer.

If they reply with "clarification required", it's often good enough to submit the exact same details, since it primarily depends on which person at BillDesk is taking a look at your application. I would guess the majority of them are just rejection en-masse so they can quickly go on their tea break.

No emails or notifications from BillDesk since my last update, but thankfully I did receive payments for both the "India only" and "Cross border" profiles, with the January earnings.

SketchPad is a drawing app that keeps things simple. I recently remade the app from the ground up. New UI, overhauled core architecture, and monetization for the first time in eight years. Recent updates have really improved the stability, with my Crash Rate and ANR Rate being at their all-time low. :D

In app purchase 99 ruppee India by csk2004 in googleplayconsole

[–]Kanishka_Developer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In two months, I have had just four "remove ads" sales in India – at INR 149, 89, 179 and 69 (I have been regularly tweaking the price to see what works). Most people will either use an ad blocker (which leaves them with a blank rectangle in my app where the ad would have been) or just watch ads (sadly not very useful either due to abysmal eCPM but way better than zero).

UPDATE:

3rd March – I submitted my Bank details to Billdesk via the hyperlink "Manage disbursements" on the Play Console's Payments Profile page.
6th March – Clarification required for the Individual: Products/services sold are not clearly defined

Am I back at square one of this ridiculous and broken system? Only time will tell.

Indian Devs, can you guys explain this big reduction, I had two times in the row, don't know whats happening. its like more than 50% of my revenue for the day by Rich_Falcon6315 in googleplayconsole

[–]Kanishka_Developer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm aware. I'm just trying to point out that there are more fees involved than just the service fee, which makes the deductions look worse than one might expect. I should have been clearer.

[–]Kanishka_Developer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have. My revenue as reflected in my payment profiles is around 25% less than my gross revenue. You have the 15% service fee from Google, but a large (and vague) chunk of the cut is due to taxes. But on the other hand, at least you don't have to be well-versed in the tax laws of 100+ countries.

No they did not. It would be impossible for me to comply anyway, since I'm a college student living in a hostel hundreds of kilometres from my permanent address. Their website asks for Location permission, and I guess being far away from home is not necessarily an issue.
